Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by expensive , without parking or breakfast and awful fitness center This was more expensive that average and without a reason in my opinion. Facility is old, room was smelly and I was even charged for a parking spot away from the hotel that was actually cheaper if you pay to parking machine. Breakfast was less than poor, the kitchen was short of everything and the fruit was rotten. Very bad experience, would never use it again, I rather stay in Onalaska, way better service for the same or less price. Fitness center was a joke! October 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable Stay The hotel is in a prime downtown location, within easy walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the convention center. Everything was very nice. Our bartender in the lounge, Dustin, was especially attentive, accommodating, and fun. I would certainly be comfortable recommending this hotel to others and staying there again the next time I visit La Crosse. October 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Parking problem When we tried to leave in the morning, we couldn't get out of the parking lot. The machine wouldn't accept our validated parking ticket and the gate wouldn't go up. I went to the front desk, and the attendant was completely indifferent and rude. He said there was nothing he could do about it and i should just lift the gate. I was unable to lift the gate, so had to pay $6 to get out of the lot. Also, my room stunk of cigarette smoke terribly.
