The only area where I saw some improvement is needed is for the staff to occasionally to walk through the corridors and pick up dishes and or glasses left by guests on the hallway floor outside their rooms..

While in LaCrosse to visit our son we had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn and Suites in downtown LaCrosse. The location was excellent, staff was courteous and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Our accommodations contributed to an excellent weekend experience and we plan to stay there again when next in LaCrosse.

when I was checking in I was asking for a room away from icemachine, elevators, and any noise making devices. I specifically mentioned room exhaust fans under the window. What I got is a room overlooking several roof fans sounding like helicopters landing.
I askedfor a different room, and when I was mentioned the roof fans th staff person said that it is the their fans, but finally got a new room. The room had a musky smell, it looke old.
I had dinner in the restaurant, the food was terrible along with the service.
The parking is hard and there is a parking fee charged.
The internet did not work at he first night, I was told that they do know about it but do not know how to fix it
In general the hotel does not worth to stay in even if it would be free.

We found this hotel to be relaxing in that our room and the general areas were kept neat and clean. The staff was helpful and always friendly. Made you feel welcome at all times. the restaurant meals were good and the area clean. Wait staff was friendly and responsive.

I was very disappointed with the costs associated with our recent stay- we are frequent guests of Holiday Inns everywhere and have never paid so much for a room that wasn't even clean- cobb webs in the corners, nail clippings on the carpet- was then charged a daily parking fee for a parking lot that had no available parking making my husband and I have to walk around the block to a parking garage at which point we had to have the front desk validate so we didn't have to pay twice!!! Also there was no coffee, no breakfast, no bottled water nothing without a hugh price tag- good thing we were only here for a wedding because I will not be coming back anytime soon!

My first visit to his property. Typically we stay at another hotel in the area but the price was right this particular weekend. We were greeted by a very friendly front desk person and at that point, had good expectations. However... when we got up to our floor, it was very stale smelling. When we entered our room it seemed very dated and not very clean. Even my 12 year-old-commented on the cleanliness of the room. During the evening I had to change the toilet paper roll in the room and on the little self where the extra rolls of toilet paper are stored, there was an inch thick of dust and dirt. I mentioned to my mother who was also staying with us and she said that under the toilet seat it was black. I took pictures and upon checkout shared that with the manager on duty. I don't typically do stuff like that, but it was beyond disguising!
He manager apologized, and asked what he could do to get me to come back and stay again (which was awesome). He gave me a small percentage back on my room, which was appreciated -- however I'd have to think twice about coming back to this location. Service was great, but I'd prefer a clean room.
