Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quick Stay We needed a place to stay overnight that would be easy for a quick stay and to eat, we had a late check in time and early check out. We booked 3 rooms and I called to confirm a week before but all my reservations had been messed up so it was good I called to confirm. It was an easy check in but when we arrived we found out that the hotel restaurant and bar was closed and under construction which was a surprise because we were not informed about this when booking. The hotel room was clean and comfortable except in the morning we woken up by a loud knock and check out information slid under our door which was not appreciated. We have always had a great experience at the Holiday Inn in Winona but it was full so we decided to stay at the next closest one in Lacrosse thinking it would be about the same but it wasn't. Probably wouldn't stay at this location again. May 16, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice location but service is lacking I love the location of this hotel. It's right downtown within walking distance of the park, river, many restaurants and shops. Upon arrival I booted up my laptop and the internet was slower than dial up. Just terrible. I thought it might pass so I tethered to my phone for a bit. Went out and came back later. There was no improvement in the wireless. I called the front desk and was told that their wireless service is terrible, and it would work better if i stood by the door, as the access point was in the hallway. The desk is on the opposite side of the room. The following day we were out most of the day. Came back to a room that looked like a 6 year old cleaned it. There was still popcorn and Doritos on the floor (we had young ones with us) and the beds were sloppily made. One bed skirt was sitting on the chair. Absolutely uncalled for. I stopped by the desk and the gentleman said he would take care of it, which he did. On checkout day i received the bill under my door, but I had paid through a website that books hotels for you. This bill was MUCH less so I took it to the front desk. They apologized again stating that's the company that I booked the room through's charges, not mine, and it should have never been given to me. This hotel dropped the ball on every angle of service. On checkout the gal said she would give me an extra points on my rewards card for my troubles, which she did, but i didn't get any regular points for the visit. Not sure I would ever stay here again.
