Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Helpfullness I booked this because I was coming in to visit family. Miss Loretta assured me everything was ready. I meet her when I got there she was such a delight. She took the time to answer all my question, recommended some restaurants. The cleanliness of the rooms were great. Front desk was very polite and helpful. The restaurant staff was nice they need to work on food orders. January 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Front Desk Staff and Clean Quiet Room We stayed for two nights at the hotel while visiting family members in the area. The hotel is located close to the interstate and to major restaurants and shopping areas. The room was in a quiet location and was very comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were extremely helpful. This is the third time we stayed at this Holiday Inn and Suites in Lake Charles. We will stay there again. January 19, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and helpful staff Stay was ok but rooms not as clean as they should be. Even after pointing out that there was an odor in carpet (musty smell) and bathtub and walks over tub needed cleaning, it seemed all they did was use some type deodorizer which only made the odor worse. It was nice to see that they started offering free coffee in mornings. Would make long stays better if you had free continental breakfast. Restaurant is ok but selections limited. January 9, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Housekeeping Nonexistent THe hotel is nice in the exterior. THe beds and pillows were comfy. The issue was that housekkeing did not attend to our room appropriately, they took used towels and left us with none. They did not clean bathroom, the trash needed to be taken out and there was not toilet tissue. THe soap and supplies were not replenished. THe staff on checkout didnt really seem to care about the problem. January 5, 2015
