my wife and do some leisure travel and try to stay at Holiday Inn and Suites if there is one in the area.This hotel ,like others we've stayed in' is very clean and all the employees are very friendly.

Our stay was very comfortable and staff were very courteous. We would definitely stay here again.

We did have a Project Kick off meeting at this hotel. Every thing was in place as requested. We did have a great breakfast, a generous lunch and a quite conference room it was a great place to do a project meet. I will have my next project meeting at this hotel.

Brittney from the front desk area was very friendly and bubbly as she greeted us upon arrival and always greeted us with a smile.
Professional and courteous staff who are warm and friendly and always greeting you with a smile to see to your needs. An excellent run hotel.
Mr. Carey, front desk mgr. also very courteous and friendly.
Christina, Serene, and Carlton from housekeeping were very friendly and courteous as well as excellent housekeepers.
Brandon from the restaurant was very informative about the menu and described the meals as appetizing as they were actually tasting.
Excellent food and service.

When I made the reservation online, I selected the room that included breakfast. Afterwards I called the hotel a few days before arriving and verified that my rate included breakfast. The mornings I was there I asked for and received a breakfast voucher. After checking out and once at home I checked the bill and it included $30 for three $10 breakfast vouchers. I called to hotel and the lady who answered said that after she spoke with the manager, she was told that my rate did not include breakfast and there would be no refund. When I reminded her of the phone call I had, she said she reminded the manager who would not budge. So, for the price a breakfast voucher (which is much less that $10/day) they will lose a customer who travels to the Lake Charles area at least quarterly with other company managers staying in the area as well. We will not be staying there any longer. Poor management!!! And I am a platinum IHG member as well.
