Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sold on property This was our second visit and oddly we get the same room. On our first visit, we noticed a difference in the way this place is run. Everyone and I mean everyone says hello and has a smile! That impresses! We paid $114 and could stay elsewhere cheaper (including a free breakfast), but this hotel has earned our repeat business. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No complimentary breakfast, spa or sauna, but nice rooms Our family of 6 stayed in late November. We chose this hotel over the others because of the indoor pool. The lady at the reception desk was polite (because she has to be) but not warm and welcoming. With 4 children a complimentary breakfast of some sort would have made our stay nicer. Kids were too old to get the "free breakfast" with paying adult so we went to a fast food chain to eat breakfast. The weight room is only treadmills. Would have been nice to have at least some weights for men (even ladies). Our darkening room blinds would not stay closed (they had also been taped to cover ripped parts) so the outside lights came shining through. Room was comfortable, well appointed and very clean. Our housekeeper was EXCELLENT! No desk to do any work on though and the business center needs updated computers, printers and furnishings. Good place to stay in winter time with kids for the heated pool. December 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pet Friendly Hotel I've stayed on 2 floors of this hotel and they are different as night and day. I have a miniature poodle- which I have due to my allergies- that breed is more compatible with people who had animal allergies. Problem is with any dog, you stay on the 2nd floor where all cats and dogs are. There should be a hard surface in all the rooms of the second floor- they are severely stained smelled of animals and stain cleaner/deodorizer. Was hard to breath. First thing my 4 year old son did was try to leave the room- twice the odor was so bad. The cats next to us cried most of the night which sound almost like a crying baby. The bathroom looked old and the furniture did not look updated. On a previous trip they had apparently run out of rooms o the 2nd floor so we stayed on the 6th floor which was clean, up to date and the bathroom was nice. We got a nice complementary water and dog treats for the little poodle. If we had stayed on the 2nd floor the first time, we would not have booked the second time. December 3, 2014
