Very nice Holiday Inn with access to some of our favorite restaurant chains including Ruby Tuesdays, Olive Garden, Chik Fila, and was very clean and nice. Plenty of parking for oversized vehicles and had a dog friendly policy. Enjoyed our stay and breakfast the next morning before we hit the road again.

This hotel is a great location if you just want to pass through where ever you are going. Rooms were clean, but it needed a bit of updating. It has a nice indoor pool. I thought breakfast should have been included for the price.

I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Florida for whenever you need a night stay or even more nights stay some where. This hotel is easy to get to and nice location, next to I 75, if need a night stay. The price is good, I would rate this hotel a 4 to 5 that is how easy and excellent this hotel is.

My overall stay at this Holiday Inn was average. The front desk was not really enthusiastic about me being there. Did not really tell me what was available in the establishment. Such items as: the pool, vending and ice, etc.
Why not provide the free breakfast and cut out the little restaurant . Provide the same amenities of the National Chain.
Rooms were really neat and clean. Add microwave to the room amenities.

Use to certain perks as a gold member that were not possible at the hotel. There is a cost for breakfast and the food was not very good.

We stayed here for 4 nights, unfortunately so did a young baseball team. The room was great, beds were very comfortable, clean, nice bedding, thick towels. The pool & hot tub were nice. Room service pricing was very reasonable, and well worth it. The only down side was that inside is an open atrium for all floors and the bar/restaurant/pool noises filter through the whole hotel. We had kids running around the entire time, being extremely loud. My family has traveled with a young baseball team several times with my sons and we were sure to respect the other patrons of hotels by corralling them outside and planning other escapes.This was more so a parent issue, but staff did not keep these kids in line either. The bar sounds also travel pretty bad, the later into the night it got.
Overall, it would have been a wonderful experience without the baseball team.

Upon check-in, this is the first time EVER that both my wife and I had to sign in. Clerk was all business; not really welcoming.
The big incentive we got on arrival was a $2 coupon for the lounge or restaurant, both of which were closed, perhaps because it was Sunday evening.
Washer in coin laundry was filthy...gobs of hair inside.
At 5pm, right after our arrival, there were food trays from room service stacked on the floor in the vending/ice machine room. They appeared to have been there for a while. Fortunately, the ice machine was not working on our floor anyway. More exercise to find one that worked; since there was no notebook in the room to offer map of the place, services, restaurant hours, etc., like you find in every other motel.
We were on second floor, close to stairway, thank goodness, because 6-story bldg has a really slow elevator. Stairs were great for exercise, but carpet in hallway and on stairs looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days.
The room itself was OK, but we've been spoiled by many, many better Holiday Inns and HI Expresses.

We arrived late at night to find our room had been cancelled and that they had no record of our reservation. After panicking and finding my reservation, the story changed...they had cancelled us since they had tried to reach us. Oddly, neither husband nor I had a call on our phones. Miraculously after I told them they would FIND us rooms, they came up with 2 rooms (that we had reserved for our large party). Both were kings when we had reserved queens. So, we had the lumpiest and worst rollaways in history (actually, they may have been historic since they had to have been from a prior century!).
In short, if this is how the treat GOLD members, I'd hate to see how they treat everyone else!

The bar tender was very nice and let me take the wine glass to my room. I hate drinking my wine from a plastic glass (wine snob) - the management was also very helpful with the room across from us that had a bunch of kids running around slamming doors. Apparently the parents were in another room and the kids were in a the room across from us. We asked them to settle down since we had a baby and they were being very load (and after 10pm). I finally called the front desk at 11pm and they took care of the problem very quick. THANK YOU

No refrigerator, Microwave and only one luggage rack in room.
Could not locate the Beverage Machine and called down to front desk and was told "you will have find it your self, its some where at the south end of the floor". I had to tell them I was a Priority Club member and was not offered any discount or upgrade.

I spend about 60 nights a year in Holiday Inn Express Hotels in the Central to North Florida area. About 15 different hotels regularly in my territory
Everything about this hotel was very good as are all Holiday Inns. That's why I stay in them and also because they are in most towns.
I usually work two to three hours an evening on the PC and require a good fast internet connection. The internet service was very very poor. Please improve so I can continue to stay.

Check-in was May 2, check-out May 3. The only problem encountered was the WiFi / internet service. After being given the proper credentials to log in with it was confusing because because I had not been told about the property's network identification system. Also, the property's WiFi setup is inconsistent / out of date due to containing multiple nodes / accesspoints instead of a simple, single "Lake City Holiday Inn" or "LCHI", etc, named network.

My family and I were returning home on a 2-day road trip from Disney World. We had stayed at this hotel the weekend before on the way down and liked it so much we made a reservation at the front desk before we left, for the day we were returning. When we returned they had accidentally made the reservation for 2 weeks later instead of 1 week, thus they didn't have our reservation for that night. They quickly resolved the issue and got us a room. The second room didn't have a refrigerator like the first one, and we needed to store milk for our youngest child, but the front desk staff quickly brought one up for us. They were very helpful and the property was very clean, both times!

This has got to be THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept on at a hotel. The room was very clean and everything was pleasant. The front staff were pretty indifferent about customer service. I didn't feel like the cared about customer service, but they were not rude or anything like that. I was only there 1 night, so I can't give too much weight to everything.

Extremely dirty carpets in the rooms and backed up toilets to mention a few. I stay here or should I say, have stayed here for at least 16 days a month. If you have a business account with them, I suggest you review it. I have been to many other Holiday Inn's , which I deem excellent. This one here probably has poor management. That is usually where it starts and ends.

even they said they had truck parking it was not to be found staff did not instruct me where or how to get to the parking area once iI finnaly got the truck from back parking area which was not truck parking friendly the truck was parked in front of Ruby Tuesdays next to hotel

this hotel was available for a quick night stay. Save us from going to other hotels looking for a night to stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
