Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and first class meal quality. Everything we would want from a hotel and more and now looking for an excuse to visit again. The price you pay for the quality of services you receive cannot be rivalled in the UK or Ireland. The hotel is close to Lancaster and on the Bus route. Lancaster is well worth a trip out lots of shopping and nice pubs and restaurant's. February 24, 2014

The staff on duty throughout the hotel were very attentive. Our platinum membership was instantly recognised unlike previously. We have booked another visit and we are now very happy to recommend this hotel to others now. It is back to how it used to be. The best hot water shower around with very comfortable beds and pillows. A very good sized TV completes a nice modern hotel room. Be sure to check the breakfast times when it is very busy. I found 7:15 to be the best time for breakfast. I generally use this hotel for busines but also plan to book for pleasure - ideally located for Blackpool and the Lakes. February 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bar Service We were served by DAN twice,during our three day stay and found him cheerful and friendly and very efficient. He was very competent and happy to please. The overall experience was good but there was quite a lot of noise in the corridor outside at various times . This did not spoil our stay however ! February 15, 2014

Staff welcoming and efficient, hotel spotlessly clean, room and bed very comfortable, and a good breakfast. Booked only 7 days in advance, it was excellent value for money. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Lancaster The family room was excellent, very big, plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and knowledgeable on the area. The only disappointment was the standard of the breakfast did not meet my normal expectations of the Holiday Inn. It seemed a little tired, but that was only the English breakfast. The rest of the choice was fresh and plenty of it. February 4, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PLEASANT STAY OVERALL THE STAY AT YOUR HOTEL WAS PLEASANT. STAFFS AT FRONT DESK NEED MORE TRAINING ON IMPROVING THEIR BODY LANGUAGE TO GIVE A POSITIVE IMPACT TO CUSTOMERS. RECOMMENDED ACTIONS : 1. ALWAYS MAKE GOOD EYE CONTACT WITH CUSTOMERS. 2. FRONT DESK STAFFS ARE TOO SERIOUS WHEN THEY TALK TO CUSTOMERS. THEY NEED TO BE TRAINED TO SMILE MORE. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Conveniently located for the M6 Hotel is excellent, rooms are very spacious and well appointed... It has a good friendly bar and restaurant.. Food is pitched just at the right level. I do have one slight grumble though; I don't normally but we took the optional wifi service. The hotel advertises superfast service for £13 for 24hours; it wasn't! Service was slow and not very reliable, my wife experienced repeated drop outs. I think that in this day and age where home broadband is around £10/month for basic service to charge this amount is a bit excessive. I did pass my views to reception, I don't believe I will have been the only one to comment; hopefully it will be acted on. January 16, 2014
