Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Customer Service and Most Friendliest Staff!!! This Holiday Inn has some of the most helpful and friendliest front desk staff. They go the extra mile to greet and welcome their guest and genuinely acknowledge their IHG Platinum members upon arrival. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay more enjoyable and pleasant as possible. The only concern I encountered was the nuisance and the noise of barking dogs right next door and across the hall from my room on the 4th floor. I thought pets were not allowed on the 4th floor, but I was sadly mistaken when the roar of barking dogs woke me up early in the morning. Fortunately, when I called the front desk to report the annoying dogs a front desk clerk professionally asked the owners to please quiet their pets or take them outside. I would like to suggest and highly recommend that all guest with pets be assigned rooms on the first two floors. Logically speaking, if a dog is barking uncontrollably a reasonable and considerate owner staying on the 1st or 2nd floor could quickly remove the animal from the hotel and not expose the noise and disturbance to other hotel guest while trying to move their animal into the elevator on the 4th floor, down to the 1st floor and eventually out of the hotel. I personally appreciate a clean, quite and sanitary pet-free room on the 4th floor if any exist. Please consider this reasonable request. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Terrific responsive staff and wonderful room Staying here was not a choice but due to a road closure. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful, patient and kind. The same was evident in the housekeeping staff. I really liked the room, the second sink by the coffee maker, the frig and convenient closet. When the guest next door thought he was at home (volume on TV) the staff dealt with it quickly and effectively. It made "having to stay" a pleasure! April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff - Truly Caring We chose this hotel because of it's close location to the hospital where my father-in-law was having back surgery. What was supposed to be a one surgery out the next day trip turned into two surgeries and a four day stay. It was a stressful time for our family. Not being sure each day if dad would be released or not, the front desk staff always gave us a late check out and kept our rooms available in case we needed to stay an additional night, which we had to twice. To make it worse three of the six family members on this trip got food poisoning from the Burger King across the street. It was awful how sick they were. When the front desk heard about this they sent up gatorade, water and crackers. I dealt with the front desk personnel from early in the morning to late at night. Every person I spoke with was very polite, professional and caring. It really did make such a difference knowing that the uncertainty and difficulties we were having were understood by the staff. We knew that they would truly do whatever they needed to in order to help us out. That gave us a tremendous peace of mind. The hotel itself was very clean and welcoming. It was very convenient to have the Perkins restaurant connected to the hotel (especially when the snow storm hit). We also enjoyed the bar in the lobby. We gathered in there to have a drink and unwind. The bartenders were so nice and entertaining. I have done my fair share of traveling and have no hesitation in recommending this Holiday Inn!
