Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Had a great stay I stayed at Holiday Inn Laurel during my recent visit to Baltimore area. Staff were very friendly. Got a room changed to the top floor without any issue. Room was BIG, Clean and very Nice. The Bed was fantastic - Memory Foam or so. Breakfast was nice too. Staff were very nice at the cafe. Ample variety of food and cut fruits as well as whole fruits. Natasha was at the front desk while checking out. She was very nice and offered water bottle even during check out! This is the place I would stay whenever I come to the area in future. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and quite rooms I was traveling with my son's lacrosse team, and they can be loud. The rooms were almost sound proof. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in, in a hotel. The pool area was nice for the boys to hang out and play cards/games or just hang out. November 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Not a good start when I called to make a reservation and was put on hold for about 10 minutes when I asked about a corporate rate for my company. Finally, another staff member picked up the phone unaware of my question and quickly dismissed my question with a "no" answer. When I eventually checked in (as a Platinum Member), I was offered no upgrades and no bonus gifts. When I requested an upgrade, the guy at the desk thought he upgraded me but I actually ended up with a very basic room. This was a one-night Sunday night stay so was a very slow night and would have expected some additional attention. The ONLY reason I didn't give a score lower than a 2 is that I talked to the manager on my way out and she ended up giving me extra inconvenience points and a "free" bottle of water.
