Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good overall, but... The staff was friendly and efficient at check in. The lobby is well appointed, open and nice. The location of the motel is a little strange and it tool us a minute to figure out how to get to the entrance. However, I did not see this as a big problem. There were two things I thought to be concerning: First, the bathroom, while clean overall, had mold or mildew (black gunk) in the corners of the tub. Seeing that made us wonder about how clean the rest of the room might be. Second, when we checked out the next morning, I did not have an invoice under my door. I went down to get the invoice and was told that none was necessary since I paid by using points. It is really up to me if I want an invoice or not. Overall, however, we liked the property and would return if in the area again. June 12, 2014

The receipt that was slipped under the door was incorrect and over charged me, however this was corrected when I brought it to the attention of the clerk at the front desk at checkout. May 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by friendly staff Very nice hotel,rooms clean staff very friendly. Great food and drinks with specials in lounge. Only problem I have is they can't make up their mind how much they want to charge. A Friday night was cheaper then a week day. Stayed on a Tuesday and Wednesday one week the next week stayed Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and the rater was higher then the previous week. I know some hotels change rates on weekends and some occasions but this one is not consistent at all May 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this hotel This is the only hotel i will stay at in Lima. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Sleep like a baby on these beds. The pillows are so perfect and puffy. I spend a lot of nights in hotels since I travel for work and I can honestly say that there are only a handful I would recommend but this one is by far my favorite. The restaurant has great food for a great value and the beer is ICE cold. They now have a comedy act on Thursdays for entertainment. I just cant say enough about this hotel. It's the best. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable beds and very polite staff we never stayed at a holiday inn before. were in town checking out a university. we thought the people in town were nice and the staff at the hotel were so very nice and made us feel welcome. The hotel was very clean in general and our rooms were always clean. The pool was great. Food was good and the ladies there were so very nice. When we checked in it was fast and we were up going to our room in no time. Hats off to those nice people at the front desk. Give the whole staff there thumbs up and great job.. I wish they had smoking rooms though and I would make it one of my favorites and would be able to book my Customers at the same Hotel. The Staff in the Restaurant were fantastic. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3 weeks I usually don't waste my time with these hotels surveys, but I thought I should pass the word along about this hotel. I have stayed at many Holiday Inns in my travels. I have stayed here for the past 3 weeks and to me it is the worst managed Holiday Inn I have stayed in the past 15 years. Next time I will try my best not to stay here and to pass the word along to my co-workers. March 22, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lima, OH location needs to clean up The hotel is average. I always inspect towels before use and this hotel was the perfect example as to why. Top bath towel had a coffee stain or some other form of a light tan / off white stain. Not cool at all. Overall bathroom was below average. On Thursday nights they have an amateur comedy show. This is by no means a family show and can be heard throughout the hotel lobby. I drop the occasional f bomb but I would’ve been extremely upset if I was checking in with my family. There’s a place for crud attempts at comedy with vulgar language, I don’t expect the HI to be one of them. Use caution at the Lima, OH HI. You might be better off a few exits north or south. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much Better 2nd Stay First stay I had was in 2012 and was not impressed. I wrote management of the problem I incurred. I was invited to come back and give them a second chance. I can say this stay was much better. The room was clean, comfortable (great pillows), and customer service was great. It is not often that management goes above and beyond to bring customers back who had an unpleasant stay, but Brad Wills definitely did. Based upon my recent stay, I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in or through the Lima area. They are making great strides and truly care about the customer experience. This second chance paid off for them as they now have a returning customer who will recommend them to others. Thank you for the improvements and I will see you again! March 16, 2014

The elliptical in the gym was pretty beat up (handles were taped up and felt like they were going to fall off) but it also worked as designed. I will use this hotel again. February 3, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by week long business stay I arrived a day early because of an incoming winter blizzard. It was an impressive one, -18 degrees and 30 MPH wind. Most of the hotel staff stayed over two nights because travel was shutdown and they felt it necessary to stay to take care of the guests-the roads were shutdown. This was much appreciated. The above said, I should mention that food was a bit below HI standards, but then this in Ohio. I would definitely stay there again if in the area. January 14, 2014

This hotel is clean, & quiet, however the staff is very unhelpful and willing to go that extra mile to make sure that the platinum elite is kept happy and are not willing to work with those cardholders. As stated before I was staying here for work, my job ended early and I was still charged a half day for checking out early. Breakfast is NOT A FREE option. You will be charged on a per person basis. It seems as if they try to charge you for everything that they can at this location. Unfortunately this has been a unfriendly IHG hotel. I do realize that not all IHG hotels are like this and will continue to use IHG in other locations, however if I'm working in this location again I will be staying at a different chain in the vicinity. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissappointed I travel for business 1 week per month and always look for HI or HI Express closest to my destination. Generally speaking I have had well above average experiences. During my recent stay at the Lima, OH HI I traveled with 4 other Colleagues and had the following problems: 1. We checked in after 5 PM and were assigned our rooms - two of my Colleagues went to there rooms and they were not ready - the cleaning staff was still working on the rooms. 2. When I received my bill in the morning slipped under the door I found a bar charge to my room that was not mine. I had to have this removed at check out and a new bill re-issued. 3. Restaurant was supposed to open at 6:30 AM. We were on a tight schedule and needed to leave the hotel by 7:15 at the latest. Restaurant did not open until almost 6:45 AM because the waitress was late due to her dogs?? Ordered oatmeal and English Muffin. Both we cold and not appetizing. Bottom line I will never stay or recommend HI Lima, OH . November 26, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Unclean room I found my room to be "clean"...but not. I arrived later in the evening and didn't want the hassle of changing rooms. Ironing board/iron left out. Used soap left in shower. Bed...questionable, so I slept just below the top blanket. It was nice to finally have a desk where the chair sat high enough...like a normal desk vs. so many where the desk level is chest high... November 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Hotel This hotel is great. I love the rooms! Even a standard room has free internet, wireless and hardwired! This is a big plus for me because I prefer to use the hardwired, simply because it is faster than wireless. Most hotel simply don't offer wired internet. The restaurant has great food at market prices. Unlike other hotels, the food is not over priced for the convenience of the restaurant being in the hotel. I think this is because the restaurant is owned and operated by the hotel not a third party company. The quality of the food is great, as good as any local restaurant. The hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Pool and gym is great. I love staying here and I will anytime I travel to Lima, OH. October 25, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 60th High School Class Reunion When we checked in, the friendly staff welcomed us home to Lima and showed us where our the Class of '53 would be meeting and having dinner. They were well aware of our schedule of activities for the afternoon and evening. The space we used was convenient and accessable to those individuals with mobility issues. The food was excellent and while dinner while served buffet style, the staff provided place settings on our tables, took drink orders, kept glasses filled and provided special help to anyone who with special needs. Breakfast was not a part of our program. We ordered from the menu, but were seated together for final relaxed conversations while we enjoyed our excellent breakfasts before departing for home. And yes, the rooms were clean and comfortable with all the amenities that travelers have come to expect from better hotels everywhere. We plan to come back to the Lima Holiday Inn for our next reunion. September 12, 2013
