Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely RUDE Housekeeping Stopped in at almost Midnight- very weary. Checked in, no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room. Woken up at 9:30 AM hearing knocking and calls of "Housekeeping". I called front desk, explained that it was a very late night for me and I would not be checking out until 11. I turned on the bathroom fan and the TV on low in an attempt to block out the noise. In less than 30 minutes Housekeeping was banging on my door. I opened it, explained that I had requested to use the room until 11 undisturbed. Then I was subject to 15 minutes of trash talking directly outside my door as housekeeping complained because I did not hang out a Do Not Disturb sign and if I did'nt have one I should have went to get one..... I showered and left- I stopped at the front desk and attempted to explain my concern only to be told she did not have the time to tell Housekeep everyone who was sleeping in. Stay here- ONLY if you are an early morning riser April 3, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast here, not the best choice Breakfast here, is not the best choice. Berries in the fruit bowl were old, brown and melted with the rest of the fruit. Seems like were prepared weeks ago and placed in the fridge. Waitress says "let me take the berries out and bring you the bowl back"... Really? Room was good, but since there are not to much choices early in the morning guests deserve at least a decent breakfast. March 25, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by resturant needs HELP! Have stayed at this property dozens of times (see history) and this was the worst stay yet. Arrived down to the resturant around 6:00pm and didn't not get waiting on till 6:30pm even though some of the hotel staff was eating in the booth directly across from me. No refills on drinks, meal order not correct and to top if off the morning cook staff did not even show up for work. There was a snow storm but it was not that bad and zero explanation and or apology from the front desk staff. Thank God there was a Cracker Barrel around the corner. March 11, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed feelings The facility was wonderful, the rooms were clean and well kept, the our room service dinner was fantastic. This was our 35th wedding anniversary, and evening my wife and I were very excited about. We called ahead to clear the way for an early check in (around 1:00) and were told they they did not know how to do this for us. We arrived and went to the front desk and the receiving clerk seemed bored and inattentive. I inquired as to whether we could indeed check in early once again and was told that the cleaning crews were busy and had not made it to our room. My wife and I sat in the entry area for about forty five minutes. I asked for an up date and was told that the cleaning crew would get to it when they could. Later when the room was prepared and the check in process engaged the desk clerk was mystified at my gold ambassador card and said that she did not recognize it. I asked if my priority club information was entered she said yes. I mentioned to her that I was eligible for a room upgrade, and she said only if I was a triple A member. I understand that sometimes people are having a bad day. It was just a shame however. This young person just did not seem to care at all about us, and seemed clueless about the priority club. First time that has happened to me at Holiday Inn, I suppose I've been fortunate. March 4, 2013

However, I checked in at 9:50pm, and the restaurant was open until 10pm, but would not take my order. I was very disappointed by that. I had an issue with the wireless internet as well. The router was not redirecting me to the correct page for login, but I manually went to the company page, and was finally able to log in. I mentioned the issue to the desk clerk, but she had no idea what I was talking about. December 19, 2012

Getting bandaids that we needed for an injury one of our party got when not on their property. Very helpful in directions in the city that we were unfamiliar with. The food in the restaurant was average. Not a big choice but adequate for a two night stay. Great food servers, happy, upbeat and honest. So, yes, we would stay there again, if ever in the area. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good times on a rainy weekend For my birthday it was suggested to stay at the Holiday Inn in Lima, Ohio.. We never stayed in the suite before and glad we did. great room and great price for the night. The jacuzzi was incredible to relax in for 40 mins or so. I have only one complaint the thermostat in this room was either bone cold or too hot there was no equilibrium in the entire suite. Other than we had excellent service from Russell at the check in counter. Thanks for a great time on a soggy night. October 11, 2012
