Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by friendly staff and good location Upon arrival i was met by a very friendly receptionist who dealt with all of my questions. Rooms are clean and adequate in size although ca n feel cold when fist arrive - not too long if heating is turned up very high before feeling warm. Only negative - Check can be slow though especially at busy times, should have more staff on. February 22, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable Beds/Water Turned Off We were unfortunate and had a couple of problems. 1- The mattresses were very tired and we didn't get a restful sleep, there were twin King size beds but neither were comfortable. We did complain and were moved to an executive room where the bed was perfect. 2- The bathrooms were being updated in the rooms and there was a notice to say, but we didn't expect to find our water turned of and were not prepared for the loud crashing and banging at 9am only a few rooms away. 3- A couple of very minor observations were 1- not enough shower soap in dispenser 2- kettle still had water in 3- TV in 2nd room had a line down the middle of the screen. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean hotel Great location I have stayed at this hotel many times and it would always be my first choice in Lincoln as it is in a great location and hotel rooms are always clean. The pillows could be softer for a good nights sleep but you can always bring your own. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the dining room is very clean and breakfast is good better than most. There are many restaurants in walking distance and a great pub on the corner called Royal William. February 19, 2015

A hotel staff member had previously rung to tell us of a Valentine meal that was being held. We rang back and were able to attend the meal instead. It was a pleasant evening. February 19, 2015
