It was a typical Holiday Inn Room, which I've stayed in multiple times, by I was impressed by how clean everything was - so much so that I mentioned it to the front desk upon check out and they informed me the entire hotel was renovated one year ago. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Last minute stay We had to take our son to BWI for a 6:30 am flight back to Ft. Wainwright , Alaska. It was a last minute decison to go down the nite before. We got a GREAT rate, a super roomy and comfy room and the staff was EXCELLENT in offering shuttle and check in info for our son so we did not have to take him to the airport. They even explained that since he is active military on a commercial flight, there were some easier ways for him to check in for his flight from the hotel to avoid longer lines. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also, Emmauel at the bar/restaurant was great! So nice and so attentitve to everyone in the dining room/bar. A nice last evening with our son. Thank you!! Because of allergies and cats, I cannot visit him in the house so having the wonderful holiday inn which just gets better and better with each visit everyone going out of their way to be helpful and kind. The 7 rooms were reserved in one name and this made extra work for these front desk employees. Also would like to recognize the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. One person that deserves a huge Thank You was Antonio...he went above and beyond for everyone he encountered. A gracious and kind man that made our Holiday Inn experience a pleasant one. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is the BWI airport hotel that you want. This hotel is fairly new. It's very close to BWI. There is a great shuttle. They have free tea and coffee 24/7 and free wi-fi. The rooms are immaculate and the staff especially the FRONT DESK are great. One small note, please change your room service and dining room menus to read CLOSE AT 10a. They say 1030a on both. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spa like atmosphere After arriving at BWI after a 9 hour flight at 2am, we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel shuttle picked up our family of 6 and our dog, promptly and with a smile..... Did I mention this was at 2 am???? Our check in was easy and within minutes we were enjoying an extremely comfortable night's sleep in our two beautifully decorated room. Our bathrooms had marble top counters and even the complimentary shampoos, soaps and lotions, were of good quality. The rooms were immaculate. Even the bathrooms look freshly painted and pristine. It really had a spa like atmosphere for a hotel room, which we have never encountered before. The mattress was the type you just melt into and sleep for hours without moving an inch. This was a great way to come back to the states. Our next flight out of Baltimore will definitely include a stay at this top notch hotel. Bravo Holiday Inn....Bravo. December 22, 2013

It was a relief to be able to eat right there on the premises, as we had never been to your city before. I was pleasantly surprised with the room accommodation's, and the 24 hr Airport shuttle service was a godsend. I Would not hesitate to stay with your hotel again!! December 18, 2013

Not that I don't like the brand, it's just a little behind the other brands. This was a pleasant surprise and one I hope follows to other Holiday Inns. Nice job with the place. November 29, 2013

Clean, comfortable room. There was a mix-up on the airport convenience shuttle that caused me to wait a long period of time but it was simply a communication mix-up. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Friendly Staff I have stayed at several area hotels before, and the staff at this particular location are amazingly friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond whenever possible to please the customer. As a IHG Rewards Platinum member, they upgraded me to a suite which was nice, and also gave me a complimentary bottle of water. Because of the amazing customer service I received upon check-in, I decided to leave my car at the hotel during my trip instead of using another airport parking lot. This was a smart move on my part not only because the cost was less $5 per night versus about $7 a night, but also because I arrived back a day later than planned because of the LAX shooting. The shuttle service to the airport was fast for drop-off and took a little longer than expected for pick-up but I think part of that was my mind playing tricks on me after a long day of travel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the BWI airport, whether you need a place to stay the night before a flight or have business in the area. The hotel is really nice and new, the staff is willing to go above and beyond whenever possible, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. November 7, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Platinum experience When I checked in the desk clerk did not recognize me as a platinum member. The next morning for breakfast I inquired about the platinum gift bag or a breakfast credit. The young lady looked at me stone faced and said, "We don't do that anymore" Not a simple I am sorry, or explanation. That same afternoon, I noticed gift bags lined up on the floor behind the desk. Also the bartender was really a grump. For $5 bottle of beer you should get a thank you. The only bright spot was Debra M, the waitress for breakfast. She was polite and pleasant. Her service was excellent. I will not be back to this hotel. October 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent from the minute I walked in the door From the moment I first stepped into the well appointed lobby and was immediately greeted by the most pleasant Welcome Agent at the front desk who was friendly and sincere I knew it would be a nice experience. Within 15 minutes after arriving in my room the telrphone rang and it was the front desk asking if the accomodations Were as expected and if I was satisfied. What great customer service. I came down from my room for fresh air a couple of times that evening and was asked by another hotel rep if everything was ok. The breakfast buffet was a real suprise as the quality of food and staff in the restraunt were so accomodating. I was disappiinted I had ti leave but will make it a point to stay there or any other holiday inn facility after this very positive experience. October 26, 2013

The bartender was helpful with wine and beer selections. I do wonder why we were given free bottles of water a week ago at the same hotel and had to pay for each bottle this time. October 19, 2013

Called around in the early evening, found this Holiday Inn with vacancies at a low price with AAA membership. Big, clean, quiet, nicely appointed room. Friendly staff, no hassle airport shuttle. Good selection at breakfast buffet though it's not included in the price. I guess that's the only negative I can find, though the cost of breakfast is reasonable and puts the overall stay price in line with Hampton which does include breakfast. Not a deal killer especially since the selection is better. This place was much appreciated after the previous night. Keep up the good work! October 17, 2013

The room is clean and fresh, the staff is great, the bed (we have king size bed) is very comfortable, the breakfast is good and what else..even just sit in the lobby I feel good and comfortable..I recommend you to stay here.. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing I found this Holiday in to be a bit dissapointing. We arrived late after a very long day and just needed to sleep. In the daylight the next morning I noticed food smeared on the wall by the hall mirror and the couch was so dirty I didn't want to sit on it. When I stopped by the front desk and asked about a tooth brush I was told they didn't have any. Food at the $10 breakfast buffett wasn't as good as I normally get included with the room at the BWI Holiday Inn Express. I also noticed that what looked like a fairly recent rennovation showed some sloppy craftsmanship. The tile work in both the bathroom and the dining room looked like it had been done by a blind drunk. Overall it wasn't horrible, but it was about what I'd expect from a $40/night hotel - not a Holiday Inn. October 16, 2013
