Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Adequate for a short break The double room was quite cramped with the extra bed for my 14 year old son, adequate for spending two nights but would have been an issue is longer. The restaurant for dinner was very dissapointing, placed under the stairs with no ambience or atmosphere. The food was trying to be fine dining but failed, and the value for money was not good, they would have been better sticking to traditional Portuguese food. The receptionist on our arrival was fantastic, he made the check in smooth and quick, knew how to talk to people and was charmimg. April 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by strategic location, great service, The hotel is situated close to metro station, and shopping malls is also nearby, you need only to walk 5 minutes to the a.m. locations. Very attentive personnel, comfortable room, it meets our needs, The metro takes you in about 15 minutes to the Lissabon's main monuments and tourists attractions. First was a lack of welcoming friendliness by the receptionist until she realised I was IHG Rewards member and her attitude changed to the good, Secondly, the shower head had a mind of its own. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Facilities, Staff Needs Training The hotel room was excellent. Size was better than expected and décor was modern. Down side was no wash clothes in the bathroom, and soap dispensers for both the hand soap and shampoo. This not only takes away from the experience, but when taking a bath made for a bit of a challenge since it is set up for height of person taking a shower. Other shortfall was the service, and this was significantly flawed. It took four calls to get my bottled water which is provided with the loyalty program. At breakfast, the attendant was not there when I arrived and appeared for a few minutes and then left again. It was similar in the evening when I went to the café to grab a sandwich to take back to the room. But I would stay again despite these issues. March 29, 2015
