Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Hotel This hotel is very central for Liverpool. Close to all amenities. The hotel is situated across the road from Lime Street Station which is very handy. The hotel itself has a modern look, with wood floors and large bright stairways, and pictures. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean with all you need. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. Water was hot each time we used it for shower etc. The food in the dinning room was good although I would have liked a slightly larger choicer, however this did not distract from the quality of the food. The drinks were not overly expensive. October 2, 2014

Staff were so friendly and efficient, HI should be proud of them. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. September 26, 2014

I plan to stay at the Holiday Inn in different locations now as the standard is stylish and comfortable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by the room was fine the bed was comfortable We found the hotel general manager very helpful if we had a problem both he and his reception staff solved it We appreciated their help. The restaurant however was disappointing only fried eggs no scrambled eggs and although there were a number of tourists in, the food was not always readily available. Sometimes there was no bacon or eggs etc ready and we were told it would be ready in 5 minutes which we have not experienced before in other Holiday inns September 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Liverpool trip My wife and I had a few days away in the Liverpool Holiday Inn. We had a good time apart from a personal item belonging to my wife going missing. Searches were done, it appeared the item was found and had been there all along... my wife had been told that " was OK, you arent loosing your marbles" - which was very patronising.... Turns out it hadnt been found and the staff didnt even know what had gone missing... At the time of checkout, nothing had been recovered and there was no compensation offered, only apologies... Really really disappointed with how the incident was handled. September 3, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average stay We stayed in this hotel for 1 night in a standard double room which was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have tea and coffee in the room and a choice of pillows. Plug sockets were accessible, however they were on the opposite side of the room to the bed. The TV had a poor signal and limited choice of channels. Wifi was available, however it was not free, you had to purchase it at a cost of £8. The bar had a choice of drinks and tea and coffee available at any time. The breakfast was overpriced at £9 per person especially considering there was no other option available, e.g. continental breakfast. There was a choice of cereal, fruit and hot food. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by IHG Liverpool Centrally located Hotel which is clean and tidy. There is no parking but there is a multi-story car park attached, need to get your ticket validated at reception £6.00 a day. Food OK the bar menu looked better than the restaurant menu. Bar is a bit pricey and at other IHG Hotels members get a discount on bar prices but not at this one. Very quiet even though right in the middle of Liverpool. August 26, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean rooms, great view, comfortable bed. We stayed at the holiday inn in Liverpool on 9th August 2014 for a wedding that was being held there that we were invited to. This was the first time we have ever stayed in a holiday inn and we were very impressed, the rooms were very clean and tidy and the buffet at breakfast was excellent and there was a lot of choice. We are definatley going back to Liverpool for a weekend and will be booking a holiday inn as it is in a great location. August 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent location; friendly, helpful service We stayed in this very conveniently located hotel for 12 days over a period of 7 weeks whilst visiting from Australia. We used it as a base from which we travelled back and forward visiting other areas of UK and Europe. We were allocated the same room for our whole stay and by the time we left UK it felt like home, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. We had international cases, too large for internal UK/Europe travel. The hotel was happy to securely store them for us whilst we travelled with smaller cases and to drag them out when we wanted to reorganise our clothes. Each time we returned from a trip, they welcomed us back. The full English breakfast is excellent. They are happy to provide variations if needed - soya milk for me. The food is hot and the service efficient. There is a great view from the breakfast area. The bar menu is reasonable and seating comfortable. Sometimes they are busy with functions but things still seem to run smoothly. Internet is free. We have stayed in many hotels over the years and this one exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful holiday and our stay at this hotel helped to make this so. We did a lot of travelling and it was good to have a place where we could relax. We will certainly use the hotel again.
