The staff were excellent in all areas of service--reception, food services, restaurant, and room cleaning. The bed and pillows were more comfortable than my own. I enjoyed my stay. November 1, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Perfect Party On October 25th, 2014, I hosted a party for all my employees and their guests, total of about 106 people. Along with the hotel providing a wonderful meal, top shelf bar and rooms for those who may have had just a little to much to drink THE PARTY WAS AWESOME. I can not say enough about the staff, they are all wonderful and helped in any way the could to make the party a hugh success. Five star in my book anytime. October 28, 2014

She made making the reservations a breeze and the staff was always pleasant when we went to the desk. Breakfast was your standard breakfast buffet. Nothing to fancy, but it gets the job done. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if needing a room in the Livonia area. October 27, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Service- phenomenal Room and internet problems addressed in a very timely manner and they made sure to even check back on me. I loved my night at the hotel! Only issue was that there was one staff member named Sarhia (not sure on spelling) that never smiled and offered no assistance or information at all. In my opinion you should cut this one loose. She checked me in and out and she never smiled once to any customer I saw her interact with and just was rude! October 22, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No quite what I had in mind Overall pretty disappointed in the stay - not what I expect from a Holiday Inn. Hotel badly need renovating - looked like it dated from the '80's - kind of like the rest of the City... No cell coverage inside the hotel although fine outside, wireless was hopeless - dropped out and poor coverage - but that might have been my room location. Room was old and tired - more like a motel than a hotel. Pub was under construction and little effort had been made to keep it tidy. Gym was not very clean and at least one treadmill didn't work. Gave up on breakfast and went to local Paneria Bread. Staff were fine, no issues. October 17, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by clean but annoying shower curtain was ripped and not hung properly... no electrical plug next to bed... wi-fi did not work on saturday. i was told it was because the hotel was full. poor management... no ice on my floor...had to complain twice... no free breakfast was inconvenient and unexpected... i was given an inside room, and there were alot of kids swimming til 10pm and again in the morning...i was not asked if i preferred an inside or outside room...nor did anyone explain that there were no more outside rooms... Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay was okay. This is a large conference center with a nice open pool. My room seemed very humid, kinda of that damp musty feel to it which I do not like. Decor in hallways need updating. Looked very old to me. Also bathroom needed updating. Bathroom was large though, so I liked that. Staff was very freindly. September 25, 2014

The room and hallway were old but clean, and there was visible rust on some of the bathroom fixtures. Below normal Holiday Inn standard, but the low rate makes it an overall good value. I say it again, the staff are wonderful. I would prefer to stay in an updated room with better lighting and a few more plugs and tv stations, but I know what I am getting here, and I am going back because of the people, the cleanliness and then the price. Ate my meal and left, leaving breakfast coupon on the table. Friday - waitstaff fair. Very little variety in foods each day-basically boring. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs some maintanance This hotel is one of the old holidome style hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. The first two mornings the breakfast staff was great and the food good. Its location is good and it has lots of potential to be a great place to stay. Right now it needs some cosmetic updates in its common areas, maintenance on the elevators, interior doors and hall ceilings. The stairwells need to be cleaned. The staff needs a bit of training. The third day breakfast attendant was not attentive and used a different setup. Setup was consistent the first two days, the third day things were different. I learned where things were and then they moved them. The parking lot is a total mess full of pot holes. Being part of a conference center the door placement was not obvious and not explained to me when I checked in. It's not a bad backup hotel but not my first choice. September 20, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Experience Poor experience with housekeeping, would not make up our rooms until late into the afternoon, making it difficult for us to come back into the room of the kids needed a nap/diaper change etc. We had to wake the kids and leave our room on one day, as we were told the house keeping staff only worked until 3:00pm and would not be able to come back. Our room also didn't appear to have been vacuumed during our stay. A poor experience from this hotel! September 14, 2014
