Like most US hotels not much sound proofing in room Can hear what is going on in the next room.

This is twice I have stayed here and the beds were supposed to
have mattresses that you could adjust. Well they did not adjust.
The bed was hard.

It was New Years Eve, so I can understand it being load and crazy. But the room next to us was full of young adults smoking pot. Security went to their room several times warning them or they will kick them out. (which never happened). Well if this is a NON - smoking hotel why would those kids be able to smoke pot. It was SO bad that every time they opened the door it all came out. I was there with my children and they wanted to know what that smell was. Not good :(
Also, it was SO hot in our room. The air was on, but it never cooled down. NEVER!!!!
Besides that, breakfast was great, pool is fun, rooms are clean and service is good. And yes, we will stay there again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was extremely busy because it was New Year's Eve and the staff did a great job. There weren't really good food choices inside the hotel. I think the hotel would have made a lot of money from people staying there, as there was a steady stream of food delivery people coming in the hotel all night. Only other bummer was there was a hot tub that was completely packed with young children all night. 15-20 kids...full. Would have been nice if there was adult only time or another option? Not that we necessarily wanted to get in the hot tub after that!
Room was very comfortable for 2 adults, 2 kids.

We had an enjoyable stay at your facility. The hotel was quite quiet and everything was as it should be. No problems were encountered and the breakfast was a nice plus. Because of its location, this facility is ideal for us when visiting the area.

The ole Irish Pub is gone and even on the W/E of Thnxgiving the lobby bar was NOT open. Shanny's had Boddington, Guinness, Bass, etc and was hopping on the W/E. Well times change but the traveling fork doesn't get it.

Needed to have more options for eating meals other than the ones catered - Service at banquet was excellent.

first room I was in was filthy. The carpet was stained and there was red sticky stuff all over the floor and bed controls. The staff was friendly and placed me in new room. The room was cleaner but smelled like mildew then around 10pm a lady came into my room and scared both of us. Apparently the switch was not made in the computer so she was given a key to my room.

Overall a good place. Rooms are a bit dark, outdated. Restaraunt is great and breakfast is great.

The Livonia Hotel is nicely renovated, and I appreciate staying in a full service hotel, so have given this place a try.
I have clients in the area, so stayed there twice already. The thing that makes this property extraordinary is the staff -- from the Front Desk, to the restaurant servers and especially to a wonderful young man named Jonathan -- everyone makes you feel special and takes care of you!!!
The first time I came I was in the midst of the 3 day road trip so had lots of luggage and a long walk to the elevator pushing the cart. I could not find my way and flagged Jonathan down -- and he cheerfully, respectfully and professionally helped me all the way to the room. On the second visit I had a small problem with my TV, and again, Jonathan saved the day -- with such a smile that even a tired traveler had to be happier.
I noticed that same attitude from everyone in the hotel. If you appreciate the little things -- especially when you are a tired business traveler -- this is the place. I will be back again!!!!
