It was easy to access from the train station and is an ideal location for exploring London. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were excellent. May 31, 2016

The concierge staff was particularly good at getting directions, making recommendations and answering questions. The breakfast buffet was complete and very tasty. Also, the servers were prompt with coffee and removal of dirty dishes. It was a very positive hotel experience. May 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Staff are Exceptional Stayed 3 nights in an Executive room whilst at a conference at the hotel. There is a large public car park at the side of the hotel which is convenient and the hotel gets a discount which is helpful. Hotel is also handy for shops and eating out. Rooms are small and usual London prices. Executive room had all of the usual features and was well equipped yet there was actually too much furniture for the size of the room and so no where then to put your suitcase!! Bed was awful, like sleeping on a piece of hardboard that flexed as you moved with our pet hate of roll together... you felt like you had to cling onto the edge of the bed to stay on your side!! Free TV channels are basic. Breakfast was buffet which had all of the usual things, basic not extensive. No Marmite! Service was quick and friendly. Conference facilities are excellent. Everywhere clean and well presented Staff are excellent and take responsibility and initiative. May 25, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed with Attitude of one staff Having been a loyal customer of IHG and always staying with the IHG brand I was disappointed with this particular stay. Staying for 3 nights, upon checking I was asked if I wanted breakfast, and I said yes. I know normally there is a charge, but there was no further discussions on what the charge was or any other terms or conditions. On the day before checkout, due to problems at work, I had to leave early and be at office for 7am. This required that I check out hotel and leave at a reasonable time to reach my destination by 7. I arrived at lobby at 6.10, checked out and proceeded to the breakfast hall. That's when I realised that breakfast is only open at 6.30, too late for me. It would have been good if they had mentioned this at check-in like all my previous stay. When I found out that breakfast is not available, I returned to the reception to ask if I can have my breakfast refunded as I will not be able to have breakfast. I was told, no. this is not possible as I purchased this in advance. I explained that this was not explained to me at time of accepting the voucher - where even the cost was not mentioned. I found the staff quite rude and not wanting to find a solution and his attitude was one of, if you're leaving early, not my problem and tough luck if you're paid for the breakfast already. Being a loyal customer this left a bad taste in the mouth. It's not even about the money as I left the voucher there and left, but about the principle and I expected better. I would also recommend that the Hotel begin breakfast at 6am, like most other hotels I've stayed at. In the essence of fairness - the Hotel itself is ok, Rooms are ok, the bed was comfortable, it's only a few minutes walk from the tube station. I am sure overall the hotel is good, and my previous experience of other IHG hotels has been top notch so I've just come across on staff that didn't care - but I still expected better attitude from that individual.
