This was another excellent 2 nights. I was upgraded at reception on arrival ( without asking) ,,,the room was great and the food and service absolutely first class.
But why oh why do you continue to charge for the wifi when many of your competitors offer it as a free service.
I used the internet cafe just down the road. A charge for the internet may well be a factor that determines that I will go elsewhere for my future visits to London.

I have used this hotel approx 10 times per year, for the last 8 years.
But the time has come for a change.
The decor and furniture in the rooms is in desperate need of a makeover. My room service meal was cold.
Shame because the staff are very well trained and provide excellent support, but its time for some real investment in the facility.

This hotel lives up to its reputation of excellence in all areas. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. The rooms are excellent with ample facilities for a good working environment and comfortable beds and pillows to ensure a good nights sleep. What more could you ask.The menu in the restaurant is varied as are the choices available for breakfast.

The room type we had booked wasn't available, but the matter was handled perfectly by the receptionist. All members of staff were extremely helpful.
Very comfortable room and a GREAT location. Will definitely stay there again.

Good experience at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury.
I was given an executive room at the executive floor.. Good wel sized room, with all amenities, mini bar, computer desk.. Interner connection however is not free, and the executive fllor doesn't have any dedicated bar or extras, plus.. security: all the floors have security access with room card only, the executive floor however is at a floor where conference are held too, so no security card needed, plus there is to badged gate for the rooms, so ppl attending conferences could, eventually browse the room floor.. not an ideal situation..
Good rest at night, nothing to complain apart room temperature a but the heater is silent and efficent.. bathroom however has a freezing floor surface.. heating under the floor would be nice to contrast this..
Good rich breakfast, at premium rate :-(( with friendly staff
Overall the hotel is nice, with the basic services (no gym or swimming pool), room is a good size, location is good, with a close by shopping area and tube line very handy, car park and external to the property gym
Location is good if you plan to spend your nights at the west end theatres...can even walk, if you want..

Particular shoutouts to Emilio, Allexandra and Monika for their accomodation of a guest's request.
Gary and Miguel are always friendly greeters and have a tremendous knack for recognizing needs and faces.

Enjoyed our stay at the bloomsbury. great location....The underground is only 2min walking distance and if you want to get around in central london its great. The Brunswick shopping centre is opposite and is nice with a big waitrose.
The hotel staff were very polite and friendly and any queries we had were addressed straight away - was very impressed with the service. Only negative point is that the room was bit cold and bathroom is quite small -
I have stayed in London on many occasions and this hotel will be my first choice next time - mainly because of its atmosphere and location. Would definitely stay again !

Impressed with hol inns. Used to fabulous service from harrogate hol inn but getting great service etc in london was great plus. All staff very welcoming and everything with a smile. How london has changed! Cannot praise staff enough,from reception to bar staff and to cleaners we met.

My wife and I and our 17-year old son stayed at this hotel for 2-nights over Christmas. We were very please with the hotel overall and with the staff who were all really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
I would definitely visit again.

The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury was clean and functional but lacking in any atmosphere. Also, the bathroom we had was tiny as was the room. Not the space I remember from previous visits I've made to Holiday Inns and it all felt a bit cramped.
When we returned to collect our bags from the luggage room, there was a delay (we had a taxi waiting) as the bags had been moved to another floor in the hotel thereby causing extra expense.
Breakfast was superb but then having paid £160 for the small room, I wouldn't have expected anything less.
As a Priority Club Member I don't believe I was given any different treatment or incentive by the hotel.

The close by amenities are a plus. The tube stop is so close.

From the time we booked into the hotel to drop bags off, Gary the concierge on duty could not have done any more than he did. He was there when we returned to the hotel to make sure that arrangements were all in order, even though he was suppose to have finished some 3 hours earlier.
What could have been a bit of a let down due to an issue with the room; Gary's attention to detail and customer service made a stay that we will not forget for all the right reasons.

As usual the hotel kept up the high standard in all areas that Ihave come to associate with my frequent stays at The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Coram Street. All my requirements are always met and the staff are friendly, knowledgable and courteous. The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable essential after a business meating or leasure activity.

Great base for visiting London. Good hotel with professional staff. The staff recognize priority club members and we were upgraded to an executive room. Good breakfast buffet, very well stocked. Nice bar.

Great location which I guess is what you pay for. We also felt the breakfast was above average. The rooms are small however and expensive even for London, given there was a tiny bathroom and no easy chair. Could just about negotiate round the double bed.

I been a loyal IHG customer for the past few years and priority platinum club customer. My stay with IHG chain of hotel throughout Asia , Europe are pleasant .
The last stay at Bloomsbury Holiday Inn are not pleasant due to following :
1. Noisy environment due to Renovation work between 12 - 2 am on my first night of stay is unacceptable . The renovation work lasted for 1-2 hours and we are troubled by this especially after long flight coming to London .
We contacted hotel staff 4 times , and been told there is an emergency renovation work and ask to bare with the noise . They didn't bother to offer room change or inform us in advance about the renovation . I had recorded the noise clip using my phone and will forward it to IHG.
2. Been told by counter staff we will receive priority club member complimentary basket .( Been receiving this throughout my stay in other IHG hotel chain ) , but it never come through during the 4 night stay .
Would rethink my staying options when i'm on business/leisure trip next time .

having used this hotel previously I was very diappointed that this stay will probably be my last. The hotel has changed its policy toward smokers- they now have no rooms available for us . However the room itself had either the heating or air conditioning unit just outside the window and continual noise all night. Despite having done a day's work and travelled for 6 hours the last thing I needed was a continual noise distraction. Oh and the shower leaked so that more went down the back than came out the shower head. Not a good night

Overall the hotel was great but, the receptionist found it hard to grasp that the rooms were paid for and did try to charge me again which was quite annoying, as i had to put up with this at the Belfast Holiday inn two years ago. I think there should be a better way of viewing guests rooms on the system instead of embarrassing people by having to show the credit card statement to verify that you have paid.

After coming back from our hols to go back to work in London it was lovely to be greeted by familiar friendly faces.
We were very early but the team managed to turn a room around for us in 20 minutes so we could relax and get some sleep which was excellent service.
Always recommend to colleagues to stay in this hotel - you wont find anywhere more friendly.

Our overall experience was good,but one of our major irritations is someone who is booking us in answering the phone in the middle of this procedure.This happened twice within about 10 minutes.There were at least 5 people on reception so surely one of these could have been specifically designated to answer the phone.we feel very strongly that the person in front of you should come first.

We stayed for one nigh, for a Chismas party. Staff were excellent throughout the hotel, room was of a good standard, we had a good nhsights sleep, breakfast in the morning was first class. Great location for access to Central London, very happy to recommend to others.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel on Saturday 17th November 2012.
The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly and very keen to ensure we had everything we needed. The room was quite small, probably one of the smallest I have every stayed in, but it was certainly very clean.
We were offered a choice of two rooms, one on the 2nd floor and other on the 5th. We opted for the one on the 2nd since the one on the 5th had an adjoining door which I know from past experience can sometime be quite noisy. With hindsight I wish we had chosen the one on the 5th because we were kept awake until 3am by loud music from a function being held below. I did complain but nothing was done. This ruined what could have been a perfect stay. Would I stay again? No !

As a Priority Gold member, my room was upgraded on arrival. The staff service and attentiveness from arrival to departure was amazing in all area's throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hotel are excellent. We have always stayed at this hotel when in London.It is the quality of the staff in particular which keep us coming back. Many of the staff have been with the hotel for some years and always make us feel welcome. We have on the odd occasion stayed at other hotels in the area, but have found they don't match the standard offered at Holiday Inn - Bloomsbury.
