Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Wanted Convenience, Comfort and Customer Service But Didn't Find Here I booked this hotel as we needed a one-night stay that was convenient to Heathrow and comfortable for early morning flights. From what I've previously experienced Holiday Inn Express has provided comfort, convenience and customer service in the past. Unfortunately this was not the case in this instance and property. Prior to arrival I contacted the hotel as my bags were arriving via courier prior to my arrival. They said they could accept, no problem. Unfortunately the front desk did not accept saying there was no reservation in my name and I had to pay twice for the luggage to be delivered. Upon my physical arrival I explained to the front desk manager who seemed to understand and wanted to assist. The next day I was told it would be addressed and I would be compensated for their mistake. Days later and I have yet to hear from anyone and have not received the credit. In addition to this inconvenience, the heat in the room was not working and we had to request a space heater. Overall what I thought Holiday Inn was known for universally no matter the location (convenience and comfort) was not something I found here. I'm still waiting for someone to contact me. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Layover at Heathrow Accommodations for an overnight layover are fine. However, there are two Holiday Inns on the hotel strip along the Heathrow Main Terminal. This one is the second one. Clients using the Red Double Decker free buses need to specifically ask about the SECOND one on the route, as the stop is not obvious January 27, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room and Service Arrived late after exhausting flight. Were greeted by Night Manager very friendly. Helped us take a trip to London downtown Room was very cozy and clean. Also complimentary water and light snack. Breakfast was reasonable for two people. would recommend the hotel. January 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Room I used to like this Hotel but this recent stay has put me off. Not from a staff, service, food or bar point of view but purely the awful room I was given. I didn't get any upgrade so I was given the most basic room in the hotel which to be fair I've seen broom cupboards that are bigger. Lucky I was only there to sleep after a night out - if I was there on business and the stay was for more than a day...then I would have left as soon as I saw the room and gone to another IHG hotel in the area where thankfully there are plenty.
