Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pre cruise stay Arrived late after delayed flight so very tired. Check-in prompt and executive room looked very welcoming. Free snacks and water with plenty filter coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Had a very comfortable sleep with absolutely no noise from planes which we were expecting to hear. Breakfast in morning hot and good choice, just perfect. We left early for our cruise transfer but were very satisfied with our short stay and would book again if needing heathrow hotel. Would recommend this hotel very highly. October 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great executive room Probably about the fourth or fifth time we have stayed here - first time in one of the newly refurbished executive rooms. Great night's sleep and good service all round. The only 'problem' was that the restaurant was being refurbished so there was some noise during the day time downstairs. #I believe this will be completed by late Oct.# We recommend this hotel as a great place to stay before/ after a flight from/ to Heathrow. Easy to the airport with the shuttle bus. October 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pigeon Hole If you want to live in a pigeon hole with rusted bathroom fittings and pay for wi-fi in todays day and age and not even have good customer service support and to add to it create a hole in your pocket, this is definitely the place your looking for . . . . . Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value, but could be better Staff was friendly and attentive. Internet connection in the room was very poor, however. Also the room was not as clean as you could expect. This is probably an exception, since hotel itself is well maintained. Heathrow airport doesn't have free shuttles to hotels, so prepare to pay for HotelHoppa commerical bus service. October 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AVOID most of the rooms; and no fitness room at all Many rooms are the tiniest I have ever seen since traveling after colege and certainly the smallest I have ever seen at any Holiday Inn anywhere in the world. I understand one side has slightly bigger rooms; I am Platinum, but was assigned to one these cubicle rooms. There was no room to sit at the desk, as the chair could not pull away from the desk because the bed filled up most of the room. If you wanted to hang up anything at all in the closet, you had to first empty out the ironing board and suitcase stand-- but there was no other place to put them. The room reminds me of those Japanese hourly cubicles I understand you can rent by the hour in airports (not that I have tried one). It's been so long since I have had to ask in advance to confirm there was a fitness room (it seems every property has one), I was shocked to see there is nothing at all here at this property. Tear it down and start over! It's way past the end of its useful life. October 8, 2014
