Hotel is pretty old and showing its age a little bit, but does have its advantages. Both lifts were broken when I arrived. I was only on the first floor which meant I was more or less ok. I did pass comment on check out and Curtis the manager wrote to me promptly and matter was resolved to my satisfaction. Staff were friendly and breakfast service and food good (asked for poached eggs and they came quickly). Compared to other Heathrow hotels this one is relatively cheap, and if you are looking for good value on a good brand hotel this is probably one of the best in the area.
I do have an issue why a hotel patron has to pay every night for a car park place. Lot of hotels in London and Heathrow do it, but its wrong and more people should raise this when they are faced with it on their bill.

After repeated stays and constant moaning, rooms are very hot. Temperature is set to 23 as default and the only option is to turn it off and open the window to Heathrow airport.
Lift broken for 3 days. Not great when you are on the top floor but out of the hotels hands. Just thought as big as the HI group are you would have had a company available within 2hrs.
