Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Enjoyable Stay I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn. The hotel seems to be well maintained, has a general newer appearance and the facilities available very pleasing. I had to leave before 6 am and therefore could not eat breakfast at the hotel. It was a very pleasant surprise to receive a 'take out' breakfast meal at no extra charge with tasty and nourishing items that I was able to eat at the airport. Overall my stay was a very enjoyable experience. December 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Could be great choice but major limitations undermine One expects a few things from especially an airport hotel: quiet, good customer service, cleanliness, working facilities, free internet. This hotel does very well on the first 3 but really fails on the last 2 for us. The staff is excellent and very responsive, the hotel despite a very loud party in the lobby when we arrived (at 1 am!!) did not affect the quiet of the room, which was also clean. The breakfast is also pretty good. But we could not adjust the temperature of the shower well when we showered right before we left--it was either scalding or freezing with not much in between; and really, charging for internet after the first half hour! Might as well have charged for the water or heat in the room. Free internet at any time is an absolute requirement in this day and age, and especially for air travelers! What are you thinking? Having to join the hotel loyalty club to get free internet after the first half hour just adds insult to injury. Raise your prices by 2 pounds per person whether they use the internet or not, but provide free internet to those who need it. December 18, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room, but poor service I stayed at the Heathrow Holiday Inn for 1 night in early December with my mother in a twin room. The room itself was very comfortable for two people and had everything we needed. However the atmosphere in the hotel was not relaxing and the service provided by the staff was poor. When we arrived the hotel was very noisy with a party, so it was difficult to check in and very busy. The lift was broken and it took a long time for someone to help us with our bags. The next morning we had to carry down our heavy bags ourselves as there was no one available to help, even after asking a number of times. If you need somewhere close to Heathrow it is OK, but there are plenty of other hotels close by. December 16, 2014

The restaurant has a lot of options and the food actually tastes good. Will stay again if in the area. December 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LIKE NEW! When I booked this room my husband warned me that being so close to Heathrow the hotel was probably well used and would be pretty worn at at the edges. He couldn't have been more wrong! This place was like new and the staff were amazing. I was travelling with my 14 year old daughter and the hotel felt so safe i even let her go down to the restaurant on her own, something I've never done before. The staff helped me store my heavier luggage and arrange a taxi the next morning for the same price as our hopper tickets which made the whole transfer process so much easier and our driver was charming. The business suite allowed me to easily print out my boarding passes without charge. This hotel made my leaving England very smooth and stress free. December 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good rooms but noisy restaurant The rooms are very good but the restaurant is unfortunately very noisy and not a place where you can relax and enjoy the meal. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and in all occasions the noise level in the restaurant has been too high. Last time a christmas party with +30 persons took place and when the music started it was hammering thorugh the building. December 16, 2014
