Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent service I had nice stay at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommend this hotel December 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Not my first choice I have stayed at this hotel before some years ago and recall the décor to be dated and the receptionists where not all that good. I had room service back then and the food was good. The mattress was not firm but OK. The bar was nice. The surrounding area is some what of a dead end. So having avoided that hotel for some years I was not keen to be back there again. Again as expected the receptionist appeared to have the hump. I asked if I had been upgraded as a platinum member and was told yes you have a double room, odd as I had booked a double room! Room was just as a I expected, soft mattress which you sank into, bathroom ok, small bath tub, at least the aircon worked. Dated décor, worn out sofa etc etc. No great surprises. Anyway, I asked for a taxi to be called, instead was told to go find one of the road. Great service!! Following, morning...breakfast was good, service was good. Different Receptionist and she was very good, I asked for a taxi and she got me one. Will I be back again. Nope!! December 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not suitable for business travelers - Worst wifi in London It's close and convenient to work, so I booked about 20 days of travel here over the past few months. Here's the verdict: avoid if on business. The wifi just doesn't work and also has one of the most annoying logon procedures I've ever seen. The bathrooms are small and dingy, and the bar is a infrequently-staffed with a selection of one beer and one cider on tap. The attached Indian restaurant is quite good, though - try the lamb fry! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Meeting with Colleagues We always receive good service from all the staff at Kings Cross, rooms are always clean and well presented. Only one complaint I was unable to access Internet in the main lobby or bedroom this visit, but we will return next month as we always do. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent hotel in comparison to other similar London ones Standard London hotel prices, but this one actually feels like the money has been spent on it. Rooms, including executive that I was upgraded to, are small but this is expected in London. Food option for standard fare is limited but the in-house Indian is very nice and the paratha a must! Not near a tube station so a walk of taxi is needed, but it isn't that far. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Confortable room and nice overall experience We just felt like at home, comfortable room, nice people, proper services, great location and good restaurants walking around. To be honest the only problem that we found is The breakfast. I mean, it is not about the food (3/5), it is about The big crowd waiting for a table, specially on weekend. You should get up early and put breakfast in the first position of things to do. In other case you'll have to wait and your mood will get worse. Last day they let us to keep our lugagge there til 5pm nicely. Good experience. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel , Just a bit too far out. We had a lovely time here but unfortunately it was much further out of the city than we expected . We ended up paying a fortune for Taxi, tube and bus fares. It is nowhere near Kings cross station or Bloomsbury .Shame! December 4, 2014
