Thought our stay was perfect. Good location great to get to all top London shops and sites, I prefer to walk every where so it's great to get to everywhere. Staff helpful. Didn't eat in.

Fantastic location, great value for money. Knowledgeable, professional staff with fabulous attention to detail.
The way we were welcomed was superb and the food and beverage was great value for money.
You can access every attraction London has to offer from this hotel with ease on public transport or walking if you prefer.

Perfect location - proximity to transport facilities, Oxford Street, Marylebone High Street, yet on a quiet street with virtually no noise and traffic disturbances.
Clean and comfortable room with pleasant service personnel. (The toilet in Room #692 was awkwardly placed, preventing proper opening of the door.)
Great to find the same Concierge, Mohamed, whom we have known for years and who recognized us.
In contrast, lots of personnel changes at the Front Desk. They were oblivious of the customers (in my case after having checked me in some 45 minutes earlier!).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hansie great stay and great location
Receptionist used my name made us welcome. The room was immediately available and the check in was quick and easy. The concierge helped with theatre tickets and stopped a taxi for us. We had a problem free stay and will use this hotel again as it was an ideal location with great shopping and restaurants close by.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AlandLiz Overall - Acceptable
Staff were helpful and courteous, room was comfortably acceptable, and the complimentary wine to celebrate our birthdays was very much appreciated.
Overall though, one does have the feeling that the cost of staying at this hotel is driven far more by the location than the facilities.

If you enjoy going back in time to the 70s, try this hotel. Small rooms, small bathrooms (the bathroom door that knocks on the toilet), expensive wi-fi (free in most hotels nowadays), no minibar, expensive breakfast with very minimal buffet, no room upgrade (despite availability). Only positive things are decent sized tv & comfortable bed (standard Holiday Inn), on top of the location. But there are nicer and cheaper hotels around the corner. Yes, unfortunately the only up to date thing about the hotel are the prices.

Booked a smoking room 3 months in advance. did not get a smoking room (despite being available online to book on the day).
Recieved a letter at check-in recognising my platinum status staying there was free water, juice and biscuits in the room, which there was not. Aircon didn't work (on hotest day of the year so far). Curtains do not fully close leaving a bright shaft of light coming through. Was told several different stories from front desk staff as to why room request was not honoured, so was lied to buy at least one person.
