Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bedroom I booked a king bed and was actually given a room that was tacky, hadn't been cleaned properly as there were paperclips left in the room. The bed wasn't a king size bed but 2 single beds pushed together, with sheets that didn't fit. I didn't sleep and as you can imagine, best not pleased. I was in a meeting in the hotel the following day, lunch I thought was terrible, but my colleages semed ok with it. I am back in January for another meeting and we are holding our convention with you in March, so standards better improve October 18, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor standard and hard to find We were disappointed with the standard of the room (977). The bed was small and the pillows were so small they fell down behind the bed. The worst thing was the bathroom. How can it be acceptable to let a room with a cracked washbasin? Think of the germs that could be trapped within the cracks!! I did not want to use it for cleaning my teeth. Compared with a similar costing hotel in LA, the Holiday Inn presents a poor example to international travellers and does not show the UK hospitality industry in a favourable light. At the Hotel in LA the bed was huge, the pillows big and soft and the bedding of excellent quality. The bathroom was immaculate with all the fiitments clean and well maintained. We have travelled extensively in Europe, Russia, US and Eastern Europe and so have wide knowledge of hotel standards abroad. Holiday Innn needs to up its game! October 14, 2013

My stay was 3 nights with bar food eaten on night1, Private (corportate) buffet in Sanpans night2 & a private corportate function in Callahans Bar night3 all of which were good food and great service. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad experience while entering the room and leaving it - Arriving the Hotel at 8:00pm; - Entering my room: TV out of order with no signal, Internet asking for a rate rather than being free as it should be. Result: 45 min to get it fixed by maintenance services. After that, hot line to egt the internet fixed as well. - Leaving in the morning: received a wrong invoice copy Under my door, with another name, other rate, other evrything... - A bit random as an experience unfortunately October 5, 2013

But then had second thought because I could not see paying almost $100 extra for internet for 5 days. I called the customer service to ask about them having a pool and they said no. But while on the line she told me that if I signed up for ihg club or something I eould get free internet so I did and was sold. I was very happy now and booked the hotel. Disappointment set in as I pulled up. The rooms looked nothing like the pics, no free internet for me because I wasnt the right status. Breakfast was overpriced, but maybe this was so you could claim the 4 star status. We usually can only afford to stay in 2-3 star hotels and really wanted to splurge on this trip. Room service were helpful on the phone and front desk did their best to sort out an issue with my TV. The room was clean and comfortable, however, there was a large stain on the carpet and a nail varnish stain on the bedside table. Food was lovely and well presented. Close to Heathrow airport, although not affected by noise. October 2, 2013

I cannot criticise anything in particular except that the Bar food menu did not provide many choices, portions were small and quite expensive. We were in transit to Houston and only managed to stay for a few hours, but the sleep my hubby and I had was as if we had had the whole night there. So comfortable. We woke up fresh for our early morning long haul flight. The only con I can find is that you have to pay for wifi to print out your boarding passes. We will definitely be staying here again. The other Holiday Inn at Heathrow did and every other hotel but this hotel cost 5 pounds an hour. Needless to say we did not take advantage of the great offer. on the plus side the staff were kind and helpful. It was also curious to us that Britain that is known for its bed and breakfast, every hotel we stayed at in Britain charged us for breakfast and yet every hotel on the continent we got the breakfast in the price of the hotel. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good spot near Heathrow for rest and picking up rental car We rented a car from Ace Car Rental right out front of the hotel. upon arrival to London. Easy to get to the hotel with the airport hotel bus shuttle. We drove around the countryside for a few days and then stopped back at Holiday Inn to drop off car and spend one night before heading to London for 5 days in the city. The food in the pub was good and the room was clean and functional. Concierge was helpful in providing options and suggestions for getting to our next hotel in the city. We chose to cab it to the airport for a ride on the Tube to our hotel near the Tower of London and it took about a little over an hour. We just wanted a coffee and a muffin in the morning so the Starbucks in the lobby was convenient and fast. We would recommend and stay here again September 15, 2013
