but overall good. A couple of pubs down the road. But everything u need is on the premises. Don't get confused with the Sipson Road Holiday Inn and the other I believe Sipson Way. The latter is a lot closer to the airport and has Macdonalds nearbye plus gas station shop. Take Hoppa bus h1 for the Bath Rd/Sipson Rd Hol. Inn. It is definitely confusing. Good front desk staff. Price is right -Sunday night.

Very good hotel no complaints But cant beleve that a hotel can run out of white wine had to make 3 choices off the wine list.
Another annoying thing about all the holiday inns at heathrow why do they charge you for parking when you are staying one night its just a way of makeing extra on the bill

Check-in was painless, room was a good size and very comfortable, the only "amusing" aspect was after being in the room for 10 minutes, a member of Maintenance walked into my room unannounced as they thought the room hadn't been checked-in.
Otherwise despite hearing bad reviews about the Hotel, the evening meal was excellent and breakfast was perfect. The car parking can be a bit of a hit and miss as such a large Hotel has so few parking spaces, but I was lucky enough to get a parking space and somehow managed to get free parking.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Stress free before flight
We had a mid morning flight from Heathrow, and the worries and stress of getting to the airport on time were overcome by the great value overnight stay at this hotel. With breakfast included in our rate we avoided the need to find a suitable eating place at the airport. The shuttle bus was convenient at 20 minute intervals and a very helpful driver. You need to be aware though that the transfer could take up to half an hour to terminal 3, as the bus picks up at 2 other hotels on the way and also drops off at terminal 1 first. Otherwise, excellent relaxed stay and a great way to have peace of mind that you won't miss the flight due to M25 congestion and potential delays.

Great location near Heathrow Terminal 3.
Very clean and comfortable bed.
Great buffet breakfast.
Only drawback, like lots of
UK hotels, wifi is very expensive
MostPubs and restaurants offer free wifi service through UK.
No free wifi at Heathrow airport, while in Canada all airports offer free wifi.

I had one day in London. This hotel is a long ways from the Tube and as a result I spent more time getting into London than enjoying London.
The hotel itself is clean and has comfortable rooms. I would reccomend it if you have a layover with no time to enjoy the city.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BigNose1 Very good room (136). Better than the one we had on the 4th Sep, (4__) sorry can not remember the exact number, I am sure your records show it.
Slick service at reception, both on arrival and departure.
Once more good service in the "Sampan" even though they were obviously under pressure to prepare for a large "breakfast party" on the Sunday morning.
Happy smiling faces everywhere, which does make a difference even if you are just passing through.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and both times it has been an experience to remember the staff in all areas always goes above and beyond my expectations. I will and have recommended this hotel to other friends who are traveling through London and need an overnight stay between flights.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by reviewer convenient but lacks value for money or service
The room was obviously nice but the shower did not work and when I asked someone to come up and fix it, they didn't know anything about showers and there was no one else on staff. Also the service at the front desk was horrible, the internet booking had recorded my name wrong but it was right on my email and confirmation number. it took them an hour to figure it out.
Breakfast was great! Location to airport and hoopa bus was also great! But could have found somewhere cheaper for just as good.

This is a big very busy hotel. Check in was easy and we needed to get into central London first so the receptionist was helpful with regards to directions etc. The bus stop into the nearest town is just outside the hotel and took us straight to the underground.
Excellent shuttle service to the airport, nice room, we were upgraded as hubby is a platinum memeber. Breakfast was good, didn't eat in the hotel at night as took our daughter to the airport however, we did go to nice indian within walking distance of the hotel. Despite numerous people coming and going it was relativley quiet during the night, Ample parking, in all very good. Thanks

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rey2012 Upgrade and more
I arrived late to the Holiday Inn and was upgraded with a smile! The hotel was packed with many groups there. My stay was nevertheless quite. The bar area was filled with many families having a bite to eat and they looked happy. The room was very modern, flat screen, pull out sofa (never used) and a great bathroom. In the morning I needed help with the bus-airport connection and received first fate attention. Will return! Exceeded expectations.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mummsy Spacious Room
My husband and I came to Heathrow to meet our son after travelling and arrived around 9pm and was grateful for being so near. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and a wide variety of food at breakfast. My only negative comment would be that because we did not have a car and relied on the bus service there was nothing on the web page to say this service was available from the hotel. Also my son tried to use the WiFi but this did not work.

This was a hotel very easy to find and parking behind the hotel was fine. There was an easy connection by Hoppa bus to the airport. The only problem was getting out of the car park. There were barriers at the exit and no one said they would raise automatically on approach so we went round several times. Otherwise a good place.

The air conditioning in the hotel did not work and unfortunately as a non smoker I had to have a smoking room which definitely smelt like ash trays. No windows could be opened or vented so the smell of the room could not be freshened. The room was in definite need of decoration although it was clean and tidy. That is the negative side of my view.Upon check in the staff were very courteous and when informed about the air conditioning quickly had a fan put in the room and was apologetic. The food and beverage area was very modern and comfortable and the prices reasonable. I have stopped at this hotel many times in the past and been very happy so I am thinking that this room experience is a one off and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

With a late night flight from Heathrow , the luggage storage facility was a bonus which allowed my husband and I to go directly to London for the day without the need to first take our luggage to the airport. This trip to London was facilitated by the fact that the hotel had a bus stop outside the door which allowed easy access to local underground train stations.
The open deck outside the Irish pub was a good place for a quiet drink and a relaxed meal.

I booked an overnight stay and 15 days parking.
At check in I was not given any forms to fill in. I just parked my car.
Only on check out was I given the forms to fill in... which meant I missed the shuttle bus to the airport. No big deal.......
But the Concierge was the most arrogant man I have ever met.
He insisted that I give him the time and date of my return.
I explained that I had paid for 15 days parking and did not know the return date.. I am on business and it could be 2 days or 15 days.
He kept on insisting that I MUST know my return date.
He even showed me examples of the previous clients who knew their return flights.
I explained to him that from his examples.. these clients were returning exactly 7 or 14 days apart... and it was a fair assumption they were on holiday. I was not.
It seems inconceivable that a Concierge at a major world airport does not understand that not all people travel on holiday.
His parting shot as the next shuttle bus left without me ... was expect to wait for my car when I return... as it will be at the back. Great!
I also feel sorry for the queue of people behind me!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by K1234 How Refreshing... Wonderful welcoming Staff
The Staff at the Holiday Inn, J4 have to be congratulated!
Ahmed and Zam always provide a lovely warm welcome. The pair of them manage to make you feel happy even when one is having a grumpy day!
Carol & Josie - Again, both providing lovely smiles first thing in the morning. Lovely breakfast to send you on your way.
The staff overall must all be credited for making what can be a pretty lonely, boring stay into one that makes you want to come back.
This hotel isn't just another one of the mass chains... this one has heart & soul.
Keep up the good work.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheSmiths Comfortable room & extremely friendly staff
We only planned to stay for one night before heading to central London but the room was so comfortable & reasonably priced we extended our stay to 1 week. Breakfast was a cold buffet with hot meals available to order and was delicious. We ate in the Sampans restaurant one evening & again it was delicious. The staff in the restaurant & at breakfast were all very friendly & helpful. Travelling into London could not have been easier - bus outside hotel to Hounslow West tube station then Piccadilly line straight to central London.

After a 9 hour flight I was very jaded but soon put at ease by helpful and supportive staff (I had mislaid all paperwork concerning my parked car).
The Restaurant with it's Oriental theme was brilliant; tasty exquisite food served with courtesy and respect.
After an good nights sleep and a high quality breakfast my car was ready and waiting and I was waved off with a smile.
All round a wonderful end to my holiday.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MohAbb Good place to stay. Nice location and friendly staff
We were flying and we have to stay there overnight. We had good night sleep becuase hotel room was comfertable. Staff was cooperative. We were staying as family of 5. I have requested to give me extra bed but when I arrived they did not give me the 5th bed. However, I have notes with me whern I booked that I talked to the manager and he confirmed that I will get the bed. When I showd the staff the notes, they really ready to give me an extra room free of cost. That shows their commitment to fullfill the promise. Location was great. Shuttle runs right infront of he hotel and drops you infornt of Heathrow airport. You have to pay 4 pounds per adult one way to get to hotel or airport. These tickets can be bought at the airport.

I stayed the night before my return flight home. The room was equipped with all the amenties that you would expect. The hotel has a nice view of Heathrow and the 747s landing/taking off (noise was not an issue).
I would suggest taking a taxi service to the airport instead of the Hotel Hoppa.
