Convenient location for Heathrow and improved since my last stay. The public areas are less cluttered with fresh flowers in prominent areas and the staff are all welcoming and friendly.
The room was clean and spacious but was showing signs of weear and tear. A re-decoration of some of the rooms is clearly needed but my overall experience was very good.

I found this hotel very poor. The standard room had furniture that I would feel embarrassed to give to a charity shop! And had nails sticking out of it... They then upgraded us to an executive room and that had flooring sticking up which you could could trip on.
If you have kids then this is not the place for you, or indeed if you want to relax this is probably not the place for you.
However, the food was excellent - providing you didn't want the other half the menu that they ran out of! Overall, pretty poor, especially when you see their rates, you expect so much more!

The room furnuture was visibly past its prime - everything looked shabby and battered, though it was clean.
The shock was a bathroom door handle - see photos.
Windows were rather dirty.
Shampans restaurant served me a really horrible green curry - something that I would not expect at all - greasy and starchy yuck.

I needed and expected to find a standard refrigerated bar in my room (room 666) in which I could put my medication. The refrigerator in the room was unplugged both from socket and socket on the rear of the refrigerator and so not working. I asked reception for a replacement frig but was told that the rooms do not have refrigerators. It was suggested I call room service who would bring, the not really suitable, ice as there are no ice machines on the landings. The ice arrived within 30 minutes by which time I had managed to get the frig plugged in and working. After an hour a replacement frig was brought by an electrician by which time the existing frig was working.
I really should not have to get the frig working which should have been checked by Housekeeping.
Otherwise the room was quiet and comfortable with a good view along the M4 to Windsor Castle.

I had reserved a table for 19.30 on 8 Oct 2012 and ordered two starters and a drink. The first starter arrived at 20.00 and I eventually completed my meal at 20.45. I was in no real hurry and did talk to waiters and dining manager about the delay due to influx of 30 or so travellers and busy in all catering outlets.
In conclusion my food was of good quality

We choose this hotel because it was close to Heathrow and we had been flying for seven hours. It was just a stop over to catch our breath before touring London. The room was comfortable and breakfast gave us that jump start we needed

but overall good. A couple of pubs down the road. But everything u need is on the premises. Don't get confused with the Sipson Road Holiday Inn and the other I believe Sipson Way. The latter is a lot closer to the airport and has Macdonalds nearbye plus gas station shop. Take Hoppa bus h1 for the Bath Rd/Sipson Rd Hol. Inn. It is definitely confusing. Good front desk staff. Price is right -Sunday night.

Very good hotel no complaints But cant beleve that a hotel can run out of white wine had to make 3 choices off the wine list.
Another annoying thing about all the holiday inns at heathrow why do they charge you for parking when you are staying one night its just a way of makeing extra on the bill

Check-in was painless, room was a good size and very comfortable, the only "amusing" aspect was after being in the room for 10 minutes, a member of Maintenance walked into my room unannounced as they thought the room hadn't been checked-in.
Otherwise despite hearing bad reviews about the Hotel, the evening meal was excellent and breakfast was perfect. The car parking can be a bit of a hit and miss as such a large Hotel has so few parking spaces, but I was lucky enough to get a parking space and somehow managed to get free parking.

We had a mid morning flight from Heathrow, and the worries and stress of getting to the airport on time were overcome by the great value overnight stay at this hotel. With breakfast included in our rate we avoided the need to find a suitable eating place at the airport. The shuttle bus was convenient at 20 minute intervals and a very helpful driver. You need to be aware though that the transfer could take up to half an hour to terminal 3, as the bus picks up at 2 other hotels on the way and also drops off at terminal 1 first. Otherwise, excellent relaxed stay and a great way to have peace of mind that you won't miss the flight due to M25 congestion and potential delays.

MostPubs and restaurants offer free wifi service through UK.
No free wifi at Heathrow airport, while in Canada all airports offer free wifi.

I had one day in London. This hotel is a long ways from the Tube and as a result I spent more time getting into London than enjoying London.
The hotel itself is clean and has comfortable rooms. I would reccomend it if you have a layover with no time to enjoy the city.

Slick service at reception, both on arrival and departure.
Once more good service in the "Sampan" even though they were obviously under pressure to prepare for a large "breakfast party" on the Sunday morning.
Happy smiling faces everywhere, which does make a difference even if you are just passing through.

The room was obviously nice but the shower did not work and when I asked someone to come up and fix it, they didn't know anything about showers and there was no one else on staff. Also the service at the front desk was horrible, the internet booking had recorded my name wrong but it was right on my email and confirmation number. it took them an hour to figure it out.
Breakfast was great! Location to airport and hoopa bus was also great! But could have found somewhere cheaper for just as good.

This is a big very busy hotel. Check in was easy and we needed to get into central London first so the receptionist was helpful with regards to directions etc. The bus stop into the nearest town is just outside the hotel and took us straight to the underground.
Excellent shuttle service to the airport, nice room, we were upgraded as hubby is a platinum memeber. Breakfast was good, didn't eat in the hotel at night as took our daughter to the airport however, we did go to nice indian within walking distance of the hotel. Despite numerous people coming and going it was relativley quiet during the night, Ample parking, in all very good. Thanks

I arrived late to the Holiday Inn and was upgraded with a smile! The hotel was packed with many groups there. My stay was nevertheless quite. The bar area was filled with many families having a bite to eat and they looked happy. The room was very modern, flat screen, pull out sofa (never used) and a great bathroom. In the morning I needed help with the bus-airport connection and received first fate attention. Will return! Exceeded expectations.

My husband and I came to Heathrow to meet our son after travelling and arrived around 9pm and was grateful for being so near. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and a wide variety of food at breakfast. My only negative comment would be that because we did not have a car and relied on the bus service there was nothing on the web page to say this service was available from the hotel. Also my son tried to use the WiFi but this did not work.

This was a hotel very easy to find and parking behind the hotel was fine. There was an easy connection by Hoppa bus to the airport. The only problem was getting out of the car park. There were barriers at the exit and no one said they would raise automatically on approach so we went round several times. Otherwise a good place.

The air conditioning in the hotel did not work and unfortunately as a non smoker I had to have a smoking room which definitely smelt like ash trays.No windows could be opened or vented so the smell of the room could not be freshened.The room was in definite need of decoration although it was clean and tidy.That is the negative side of my view.Upon check in the staff were very courteous and when informed about the air conditioning quickly had a fan put in the room and was apologetic. The food and beverage area was very modern and comfortable and the prices reasonable. I have stopped at this hotel many times in the past and been very happy so I am thinking that this room experience is a one off and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

With a late night flight from Heathrow , the luggage storage facility was a bonus which allowed my husband and I to go directly to London for the day without the need to first take our luggage to the airport. This trip to London was facilitated by the fact that the hotel had a bus stop outside the door which allowed easy access to local underground train stations.
The open deck outside the Irish pub was a good place for a quiet drink and a relaxed meal.
