Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel for exploring the city Hotel was excellent for us because of it's location. Our plan was to celebrate a birthday, shop immensely and visit museums. I'v been in London many times and as much as I enjoy taking the tube it was very nice just to be able to walk were you want to go an absorbe the city's atmosphere. The room was just enough, when you plan to stay elsewhere the majority of your day all you really need is a warm shower and a comfy bed. The staff was excellent and very accommodating and flexible. We requested the mini bar to be emptied due to my travelling companions food allergies so we could store her foods there, this proved to be a non-problematic and it happened with great efficiency We did managed to destroy the kettle in the room however, and when we offered to pay a new one we were very politely brushed off and they were just concerned with us. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. I think this might just become my new go-to hotel in London. March 2, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor start but improved Checked in upon arrival only to find a strong smell in the small guest room and a full rubbish bin that had not been emptied near the bed. To the hotel's credit, the receptionist apologised and upgraded me to a better room which was fine. However, as a Platinum Elite Member, why was I not offered an upgrade when I first arrived anyway? Clearly there was availability as I was offered one straight away when the problem with the first room was reported. February 25, 2015
