Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Should do better. First room had no working TV and staff did not seem to have a clue what to do about it. Three non-working remote controls later we asked to be moved, please note asked, were not offered. Second room, with the exception of the bathroom and one stand up light on the far side of the room from the bed, none of the lights worked. Notified reception and the problem was sorted by time we returned from the theatre but still not the level of service I would expect. February 4, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very friendly and helpful staff We arrived early but were met with very friendly and helpful Reception Staff and Concierge -who very capably handled our luggage.He then went on to answer all our queries about our stay and where we wished to access. The bar and restaurant staff were to be highly recommended for their skillfull handling of the never-ending queue of guests requiring breakfast - this was met with efficiency plus pleasantness. Perhaps the only negative comment would be that there were only 2 lifts working during our stay and this made the progress of travelling up and down very slow. We eventually discovered some stairs ! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Small rooms, noisy hallway! You know you are in trouble when there is a note on the bedside table offering free earplugs available at reception! We only stayed one night, but next time i will ask for a room well away from the central lift and at the back of the hotel. Apart from that, the bed was comfortable. Lobby area is very minimalist and not furnished for comfort. Concierge was efficient with booking taxis. Overall it was well located and fulfilled our purpose for a one night stay in the capital. I appreciate most the vicinity to Regents Park that allow me to explore great park in middle of London. Wished i had more time to enjoy other amenities the hotel have. January 25, 2016
