This last stay was marred as I had a noisy fridge in the room that was not attended to and also it took ages to get served in the reception bar as the hotel was busy and not enough staff. The rooms were a little small but being in London we didn't really spend much time in the hotel so that didn't matter to us. the beds were really comfortable and the staff excellent. I have previously used this venue and thought it very good....so this was a repeat visit, expecting same high quality of service, and I was not disappointed. The staff in general across all areas were good, but the staff in the business centre were really quite exceptional....anticipating needs, and responding to requests. I also received a bowl of fruit in my room. It was nice but probably preferred the extra points because the room appeared no different to the usual holiday inn standard. Restaurants and bars all around the hotel. friendly reception staff at check in and check out. All the public areas of the hotel were very clean. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thanks to the hotel's staff Whilst staying for 3 nights on holiday with my wife unfortunately she was taken ill and had to be admitted to A&E. The staff were excellent, coming up to the room, phoning the ambulance, staying until the paramedics arrived and ensuring someone was in the hotel lobby to direct the ambulance crew etc. We were also phoned the next day to ask if anything further could be done and the Duty Manager spoke to us both again when we checked out. So I'd like to say thank you for those things. The hotel is in a very good location, being around a 10 minute walk to Euston station and all of around 30 seconds to Russle Square tube, so extremely well placed. Breakfast is excellent, with a very good selection of both cooked and cold items. On all days when we had breakfast we did not need to eat again until the evening. We also ate one lunch in the bar area and again that was fine. The bar itself is very bright and airy and well staffed as well. I would certainly recommend this hotel and I'm sure on our next city break to London we will again stay here. November 14, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Executive Room Room was very comfortable and bed was particularly good.Staff very courteous at all points of contact.Particularly liked the buffet breakfast. Only criticism was the number of times one was interrupted by housekeeping,I counted 4 times.They were to check the minibar,replenish tea,coffee etc,to clean room and then finally a check that the room had been cleaned.Surely some of these events could be combined,its really annoying if you are trying to work. On my visit there was no iron in the room - the hotel couldn't have made less effort to try and resolve. There were five other rooms waiting for an iron and 9'hours elapsed between my request and receiving it. Strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This is not a four star property. Location not great for Cental London if using public transport network which is often preferable to cabs in this part of town during the week. November 9, 2014

I was therefore very surprised and disappointed that the hotel severely mixed up our bookings even though we talked with the hotel twice on phone before arrival, failed to book a taxi which made it challenging to arrive at the airport on time and later almost failed another booking of a tax early in the morning. Moreover, the staff did not know if the paid internet is faster than the free one. The paid one is much faster and really good. I am not impressed by the service. At my other stays I did not have so much need of services. This stay gave me a completely different impression of the hotel. I will stay at the hotel again for holidays. The hotel has a very nice and friendly staff and hotel is overall good. November 8, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Expected a bigger room Our overall experience was good, but we expected a bigger room & bigger bed. There was insufficient hanging space in the wardrobe (the rail was hung from back to front) and allowed little room to hang clothes. There was just enough room between the bed & the wall & I stubbed my toes on the jutting skirting board. The bed was only an average double, which did not contribute to a good sleep. I had booked 2 rooms with single beds, but these were not available when we checked in earlier than expected, so we were offered doubles. As I had booked for 3 nights, I felt the rooms did not offer the level of comfort I had expected. As an IHG member, I was not offered any benefits. November 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The staff of life Stayed for one night in late October just to see the poppies at the Tower. Have stayed here before and as usual it is the staff that make this hotel my number one choice for London visits. They are invariably polite and helpful. I also got a good deal by booking directly with the hotel that was not matched by any of the well known hotel booking sites. It is also a short walk from Euston. We ate in the dining room for the first time and the food was excellent though the Boddingtons was not the 'Cream of Manchester' that I know. Ah well, you can't expect southerners to know about beer! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and always help out if there is a problem. I have stayed on and off for about 6 years now and I recognise many of the staff who have been there all that time. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Already planning our next stay. AMAZING My husband and I stayed for a short break get away and were very impressed. On arrival we were greated by Emelio who could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The room itself was large, comfortable and very quiet (no traffic noise.other guest noise). The ensuite was more than exceeded our expectations. Rooms were cleaned every day with the option to choose breakfast in bed. The breakfast itself offered everything you can imagin you would want to eat and there was no limit on how much you could eat/drink. Hairdryer in room, coathangers in wardrobe, shower gel and soap in bathroom etc. They really thought of everything. The only reason I scored one point low on value was because WIFI isn't included as standard and I think in this day and age it should be automatically included in the price. Will definately be staying here again and we are already looking at our next stay! November 3, 2014

It was ideally placed being just around the corner from Russell Square underground which is only one stop from St. Pancras,( which is within walking distance if you prefer). The hotel is modern, light and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a family room which was clean, comfy and ideal for our needs. Restaurant was very good and the kids loved the pancake machine at breakfast. Would definitely stay at this hotel again! November 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reception staff, wake up call and customer service When I checked in at the hotel, the reception staff Irina was not helpful and quite rude. She didn't greet me as a valued platinum customer and told me that all the rooms were full even though it was not when I requested an upgrade. I booked a wake up call for 7.00am the next day and it did not come, they had simply forgotten to log my call. As a result, I missed my early appointment. However, your duty manager Michaela was most helpful and attended to address the problems. Your concierge Durim was a standout in great customer and very patient and attentive to our needs. Two days later, when I checked out at 5.30am, your senior male reception staff stuffed up our invoices and could not issue the invoices and as of today I have not received the invoice in my email even though he said he would do it. He even managed to stuff up the check out for my colleague who has taken another room which I booked for him. I am a bit embarrassed for the Holiday Inn hotels as I had just introduced two of my friends to stay at your hotel. Please advise how you are able to address my concerns above as it is unlikely that I would stay at a Holiday Inn in future, thanks. November 1, 2014

Whilst price is average for hotels of this type in London, the staff make it a pleasant experience. This started at check-in and continued through the restaurant/ bar and the concierge. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Location location location Ideal location, near a car park which is good if you are driving into London, near the tube station and opposite a shopping centre which has various places to eat. I would stay at this hotel again for these reasons only. The hotel it self was adequate but I found the rooms small and the bathroom the smallest I have seen in any hotel. The beds were okay but I prefer firmer beds so didn't get much sleep. Breakfast was reasonable, and the staff I found helpful. November 1, 2014
