Travelling to a weekend conference, we found our twin room extremely well designed and comfortable, with everything thought through to meet our needs. The bathroom was lovely and the shower gorgeous. A special thank you to the cleaning staff, who made everything so homely and comfortable, Breakfast was good, but the warming equipment could have been more effective (just a minor quibble). All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel, being so new, was immaculate. Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Well designed spacious rooms and bathrooms with everything you would need. Good size lobby area, bar and restaurant; all with ample comfortable seating. Very helpful and attentive staff, always made me feel welcome. Good transportation links. 3 minutes walk from Shadwell DLR (15 minutes to London City Airport, 10 minutes to Tower Gateway or Bank. 12 minutes walk to Whitechapel Tube. Red buses (Reception will advise on which bus number) depart from opposite the hotel to Charing Cross Station and elsewhere.

We enjoy our stay in this hotel, if there was any issue the staff always could help: hot milk for the coffee, or help to print the boarding cards - no problem!
Thanks to this excelent and friendly team, WE can fully recommend this hotel!

Weather was not great ! Rained most of the time so put a damper on the stay. Walk from nearest tube station (Whitechapel) far enough to get drenched. Cannot have any complaints however about the hotel other than the surrounding area not the best. We decided to walk up to Spitalfields Market (approx. 15 mins) for something to eat. Also used loyalty points so on value for money was OK although I was very shocked to see rack rate advertised in reception in the £400.00 bracket !!!! Bar area and restaurant also looked very nice.

Whilst i did feel the hotel was over priced i did have a lovely stay and the staff were some of the best i have ever encountered. The rooms were new and very clean and i had a very pleasant stay. They just need to lower the prices as for the same amount i could have stayed at a proper 5 star. And this places doesn't offer the same level of food, entertainment and facilities i would get from another hotel of the same price. But, don't let that put you off. Seriously impressed by the lovely staff and cleanliness.

I enjoyed my second stay at this hotel, I was staying on points as a platinum member and was given an upgrade.
It's a new hotel so everything is in good condition.
The only improvement point is that there always seems to be a queue for reception. The reception staff are very good, you just need more of the,

I've stayed here 4 or 5 times now, it's very very good and I would recommend it however, I was a little disappointed on this visit at check-in.
I've been upgraded here when there was availability and it's much appreciated. When I checked in this time I asked if there was an upgrade available and was told no. Fair enough but I had checked about 5 minutes earlier on my mobile app and there certainly were exec rooms available so I mentioned this and lo and behold an available upgrade was found!
This is so annoying, certain IHG Hotels make you fight for an upgrade and yes I have proved that there was availability when I was told there wasn't. I hope this HI is not falling into this category. Earning Platinum status involves a lot of business going to IHG, an upgrade is the payback on this (along with extra points). I have had personal communication with the CEO of IHG on this topic before and have been assured that if there is availability then an upgrade should be offered.
It may be that I had requested a room at the end of a corridor at booking and perhaps the upgrade wasn't offered as the room wasn't at the end of a corridor? I would like to think that this might be the case here as I really do like staying here. That's my little rant over, as I said at the beginning this is a great hotel with great staff. Do stay!

I booked this hotel as it was right near the Troxy Theatre. I was going to a concert there its only about 1/2 mile from there. First impressions of the hotel were great. modern clean and bright. The quality of the room was great, clean, modern and large. The staff were friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
