The bathroom is so poorly designed that it is hard to shut the door to use the toilet. More importantly, all bathroom lights go on so you can't just turn on what you need if up in the middle of the night. Then, the bright lights reflect from the mirror onto the person who is trying to . HOW ABOUT A BATHROOM NIGHT LIGHT.

we had stayed there before but on the other side of the hotel and it was much quieter on the airport side than on the street side with all the cars and motorcycles tearing out from the stop lights. BUT OF COURSE THAT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. It is wonderful to be able to stay there and park for the cruise and having the shuttle to and from the ship. The food was great in the restaurant. We always enjoy our stay there.

Stayed for a night, ended up being placed into a Garden room instead of the tower. Room was clean, if dated and a bit spartan. Everything was in working condition and in good shape. Front desk was friendly enough, but I didn't interact a whole lot, just check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced for a hotel (there is a Spires across the street if you're into traditional american diner fare). Plenty of parking. It is right next to the freeway, so you can hear it when you're in the parking lot, but I don't recall hearing it while in my room.

The room was clean and staff were great. Room service was incredibly fast and a request for extra pillows was attended to promptly. The room service menu was limited but the food was excellent. It was quiet. The movie selection was fantastic and reasonably priced. Our only complaint was the very, very hard beds. We will return.

Me and my wife stayed in room 1410 and the tub was clean but it had hair and Dirt in the Drain Blocking it, to were you can't stop the tub to fill it up with water, we live on the ROAD and everytime we stop we get only Holiday inn hotel ONLY, that was not cool to have two tub and you can only take a SHOWER!!! PLEASE ADVISE

There was a problem with the water not being hit in my room. The sink water was hot enough but the shower was almost cold. I mentioned the problem but water was still not hot.
This has happened once before.

This was my first trip to Long Beach and the hotel was our official Convention site. Excellent location right off of the 405 freeway and entry into the Hotel parking area was great. The meals were very good for Convention fare and the Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Our Convention meeting rooms were very adequate, also. I would highly recommend this Hotel on your visit to Long Beach.

Our worst hotel experience in a long time. The carpet was rippled and lifting off the pad like it wasn't even tacked down, and it was so sticky and filthy that we had to wear shoes the entire time. The smell of pet urine in the room was overwhelming. A very unpleasant stay, we will not return.

My boyfriend and I were taking a stay-cation for our anniversary and had a really nice time. The woman at the front desk was very friendly/polite. We enjoyed a day at the pool and the top floor restraunt was good for breakfast. Nothing too fancy but we defiantly were able to relax and re-charge which is exactly what we needed.

We stayed in an executive room in the tower portion of the hotel for three nights. Everything was very clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side, but caused no problems. Room service was excellent. My daughter wanted ice cream for pie we had purchased from Polly's Pies nearby, and the waiter offered to go back to the kitchen and bring us ice cream, plus he warmed up our pie for us!! The staff at this hotel were excellent and went out of their way.

My family and I spent one night at the hotel during Labor Day Weekend. The room was aweful, outdated and dirty. It didn't have refrigerator. TV remote control awefully dirty. The air condition didn't control temperature with very loudly noise. I won't be back to this hotel. This is the worst Holiday Inn I've been. I don't recommended it to anybody.

I enjoyed the hotel, the restaurant and my stay. I thought the food and service was very good and enjoyed the view from the penthouse restaurant. This hotel has a great location which contributes to my one negative, the traffic noise. It is time to replace the sliding doors with double pane glazing thereby reducing the traffice noise in the tower rooms considerably.

Overall, a pleasent stay at this property. A few things to look at:
-Prices a little high in Penthouse Restaurant but early bird special with wine is worth it; windows need cleaning.
-Meet & Greet amenty for IHG guests, a little chincy consisting of a bottle of water and some iced tea powder. The last IHG property I stayed at, the amenity was a coupon for a free pint of beer!
Front desk staff courteous & friendly.

I got the two room suite for my sister and daughter. Room was nice, price was great for a suite. Security was visible and staff was nice. My sister's key card had a problem but it was resolved.
I was very pleased with the initial service I got from the front desk including giving me a tour of the room prior to making reservations.
My only dislike is more of an administrative issue. I do not like the fact that payment is done at the time of reservation (I understand that but...# there are no refunds on cancelations #regardless of the time frame). The hotels I have visited in Las Vegas and the local Indian casinos like Pechanga and Valley View all allow for refunds on cancelations made up to 24 hours in advance. Holliday Inn what's up with that?

Excellent older hotel near the Long Beach Airport with some nice recent upgrades. Very clean. Staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Restaurant and Lounge Staff is wonderful and very attentive. Jesus, Miguel and Eriberto are great servers. Free Parking and Free WiFi are welcome compared to other hotels that charge in the market. Excellent TV channel selection. New Pillows and bedding was very comforting. We enjoyed this hotel very much.

Holiday Inn Airport is super close to the Long Beach Airport. Shuttle service is also available. It is located next to the Chevron Gas Station. Apple maps misguides you in a roundabout way. But there is an entrance to the parking lot northbound on Lakewood Blvd., right next to the gas station. If you are a Priority Club member, there are close parking spaces to honor your loyalty. The front desk staff is super friendly & helpful. I like that it is a hotel, as opposed to a motel. The room is not the most modern, but it is comfortable. I have a bad back, but their beds are super comfortable. No back aches. The spacing & furniture positioning seems basic & clever. Housekeeping does a great job to keep things clean. If you forget your toothbrush/paste or razor/shaving creme, those are available for free. I didn't need it, but this is good to know. The only cons with my room: no refrigerator. Some rooms have them, some don't. Ask for a room with one if it is important to you. The light in the bathroom flickered, then went out. I called the front office about it, a staff member was in my room fixing it within 10 minutes of my call. Overall it was a really positive experience.

The Holiday Inn was perfect for us. The hotel is close to the Stub Hub Center with easy freeway access. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The rooms clean and comfortable. My son enjoyed the fitness room and pool. Just know the room service closes at 9:30pm.
We got back to our room about 9:30pm on Friday and Saturday. We planned ahead for Saturday knowing the closing time. We did have breakfast for room service and it was very good.

How this can be permitted to be a part of the IHG chain is beyond me. I have stayed at most different property types in the chain across the world (and am a Platinum Elite member). This is by far and away the worst hotel from ant IHG or other group I have ever stayed in. Asked well ahead of time for the quieter side of the hotel, didn't get it, asked again after check in if it could be changed on my subsequent night, no interest from hotel staff to help. Room smelt like a cheap motel, air con was amazingly noisy and kept cutting in and out all night, even when put on "constant fan" mode, and did so loudly it woke me throughout the night, even with ear plugs in. Toilet kept leaking and reflushing all night. Freeway and airport noise constant. Had booked 5 nights, if it had arrived earlier on the first night I would have happily paid up the first night and left on the spot. Checked out first thing the next morning. Gave staff at check out a polite explanation of why I was checking out four nights early ... Absolutely ZERO interest from staff.

Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean and cleaning personnel are very efficient. The hotel is very close to the airport; the food is just okay, but there is a diner across the street and convenience store out front of the hotel. This hotel is not walking distance to any nice restaurant, shopping center or downtown so you will need a vehicle to get anywhere. The executive tower rooms are super small and the bathroom is smaller than a closet!! Most of the staff is friendly with the exception of one gentleman at the front desk who "tried" to make us, the clients, feel second rate with a pompous attitude. The staff needs to be educated on the IHG Rewards Program; ignorance is NOT bliss with customer service, it is extremely insulting to the client.

I paid for the Romantic Package. I checked in at the desk and inquired if everything was ready in the room. There was suppose to be a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers. The chocolates were in a bag, the bouquet was good, but the bottle of champagne was missing. I had to call for the bottle. THis ruined the whole surprise. It was very, very diappointing. It took 45 minutes to get the bottle.
