I have called this Hotel 6 times since my stay asking to confirm if the 1000 Priority Club points voucher was ever processed....
Each time hotel front desk staff does not follow up on the call and makes excuses that they have no control over the Priority Club Points....They state the only one that can process the points is the General Manager ....
The General Manager stated to me today Oct 2, "Is the 1000 points that important to you"?
This Hotel Management Staff is the worst I have ever seen.....
Platinum Priority Club Member with over 850,000 points

Beautiful hotel with decor inspired by ties to the Quebec aviation industry. Great ambiance, style, comfort, and an excellent restaurant when wanting to stay in. My room on this visit had great view of the river, downtown Montreal, and Olympic Stadium.

As I travel on business, i do my best to stay in an Intercontinential Property due to past experiences. The way that I am usually treated as a Platinum Member and the accomodations are usually consistent. For the past few months i have been traveling a great deal to the Montreal Area on business. Due to location of meetings this past week, I chose to stay in the Holiday Inn located in Longueuil. Due to the proximity to the highway and our office, this made sense. From the website, the facility looked nice and in line with other properties.
When I arrived, I am used to normal greetings as a Platinum memeber, but this did not occur. After the check in procedures, i then went to my room. And the truth be told, the room was not what i expected. It was clearly basic and in need of some updating. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit (Small residential unit in wall) was loud and difficult to control.
After settling in for the night, as is normal, each morning I begin my morning with reading the paper that is loctaed outside my door. However, this was not the case at my room. After advising the front desk of this, I proceeded to breakfast. The selection of the buffet was unfortunate and the truth be told, better selection of the included breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express.
The following morinng I again woke to no newspaper. I know that this is a simple and minor issue, but the fact that i had requested and was ignored, amazed me.
As with any hotel stay, the first impressions and accomodations are important. Unfortunately this property, in my opinion and based on the amount of properties that i have stayed in over the years, does not live up to the Holiday Inn name.

We booked this hotel because we wanted to visit Montreal and found the hotels in downtown Montreal to be outrageously high especially when one has a need for car parking. This was our first trip to Montreal so we did not have any clue as to the distance and accessibility of this hotel in relation to the city center. Distance wise, it is pretty good as it is not very far from the city center. Another plus is that you don't have to pay for parking. However, there are no stores within walking distance around the hotel, and the hotel does not offer free breakfast. The nearest stores/restaurants are around 4 miles away. The nearest station to the Metro is about 8 miles away. If you don't want to drive to downtown, then you would need to drive to this Metro station and pay $8 to $10 parking and then take the train. The hotel lobby and room are nice; but the airconditioning unit was very loud, and there is no self service laundry facility. If you book a group tour, they will not pick you up from this hotel as it is outside of the downtown area.

room was dusty, it had spiders in the corners and you can tell windows had not been cleaned in a very long time
curtains where old and had holes
the breakfast was good - at dinner time i ordered the steak and you can tell it was put in the microwave to thaw then over cooked when the waitress gave us our plates she said to be carefull because they were hot but really they were not even warmhence the food was luke warm...
although our experience was not the best, the front desk clerks, the waitress and the room attendent were all good to deal with

I was nervous staying in Montreal because I didn't speak French but the staff spoke perfect English and was amazingly friendly and helpful. Especially Rose! She helped us figure out how to take the bus and subway to our destination. The food at the restaurant was very good and our room was comfy and spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. There was also plenty of free parking. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was located very close to the attractions we wanted to go to. The room was large and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely go back.

I have stayed several times at this hotel, it is centrally located so it is always a busy .
Recently installed with high speed internet, I was able to finish my report at the same time as I was in the office, yet with better comfront.
Hotel is getting old.
Will stay again.

Two queen beds were good with still plenty of plush left in them. The lobby's airplane is spectacular. Our corner room was spacious but lacked some cosy chairs to sit in. So my guest used the office chair while I either sat on the floor or the bed, a real dissapointment. The fridge and bar counter I am used to was totally missing as well. I take these for granted now when I travel, and I forgot to check my reservation carefully.
The bathroom was small but well designed and clean.

The front desk staff gave a free Cnadian postage stamp from their personal desk. Housekeeping was kind and very friendly. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times and prefer it to anywhere else. The staff is always very attentive and with a smile, Eric in the bar is very diligentl and friendly. The rooms are all clean, with nice flat screen, and bedding more comfortable than my own at home. The atrium is expansive with a vintage biplane hanging from the ceiling which is a great touch considering the aerospace dominant business climate in this area. I feel completely at home the moment I enter the door.

Arrived for my stay after a number of days on the road to find the kitchen had been closed for the evening. I received no explanation or apology and no dinner.
I stay at this hotel frequently and always enjoyed the free breakfast for platinum members. Although the website still advertises it, the breakfast is no longer free. I received a discount coupon instead. This is not satisfactory.

Check in is fast and greet with a smile.Very Good. A voucher of $5 off in the restaurant or the snack bar in the reception or get 1000 points for priority club rewards for club members. A good treat. The restaurant provide good food with a reasonable price.

For the most part the staff has very good English. It was a pleasure that they could understand me even though I couldn't speak French. I ate dinner at the bar every night and the bartender was engaging and personable. The room was clean and well stocked. The heat tends to blow up between the curtain and the window, making it difficult to warm up the room. Tucking the curtains back helps. Will certainly stay again.

We came to this hotel on dec 22. Nobody informed us that it will have a party the same night.
They put us in front of the elevator, we were unable to sleep since all the kids were running from the lobby to their rooms. Since, the hotel don't have a real room for big party, everything is in the lobby and the music is very Loud...

For breakfast I requested hot oatmeal instead of the buffet. What I got was a bowl of dry oatmeal and a pot of hot water to mix it. Other hotels provide hot cooked oatmeal and not a quick mix which I could have bought from any grocery store and eaten in my room.
