I was very unsure as to where to stay on my 1st trip to Louisville. I was not disappointed with my choice to stay here. I had a wonderful bed, clean room, restaurant and bar right there....I knew I could come straight from work, eat and then go relax. The staff was amazing - very friendly and accommodating. Will book here again for sure!

When we reserved the hotel room, we reserved a non-smoking room two days before our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, they said they do not honor such requests that it is "first come, first serve", so we were put in a smoking room. They beds were completely broken down in the center--horrendous beds...The showers were nasty (the floor was brown from the dirt). This hotel needs a serious overhaul. The price is outrageous for the very poor quality. The staff does not care either.

My wife, daughter and I checked into a king room with sleeper sofa for my daughter to use. About 10 in the evening I started to take the cushions off the couch to roll out the bed only to find a note that said the bed was broken and not to use it. Being late, I didn't want to load everything up again and move rooms, so my daughter slept on the couch. I went to the front desk the next morning to see if we could change to a different king room with sofa bed. We changed rooms and the first thing I looked for was a note under the cushions. Seeing none, I thought we were safe. After a great day at Kentucky Kingdom and an outstanding dinner at Aspen Creek we came back to settle in and relax for the evening. About 10 PM, I pulled the sofa bed out only to find out the leg is broken and it could not be used. I am guessing the cleaning staff does not communicate things that need to be repaired to management. If someone had the time to make a sign and tape it to the bed, certainly, it could have been fixed or replaced. Please repair the sofa beds in rooms 400 and 306.

Jeris, Krystal, Charles and Derrick are very professional and take great care of the customers. Older Holiday Inn, but the staff more than makes up for the age of the hotel. Microwaves and refrigerators should be placed in every room.

Laquita and the rest of the staff were great and very helpful, coming from out of town with bad experiences at other hotels, you expect the worst but instead had a great experience.
