Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3 different rooms in 30 minutes I was traveling from South Carolina to Kentucky due to a family member being in the hospital. Due to convenience this was a good location. The hospital is maybe 5 minutes away. The hotel was clean and we enjoyed having a restaurant inside the hotel. On another note we would have also liked the free continental breakfast which this hotel does not offer. Checking in took forever!!!! And the hotel clerk could calculate change. She owed me exactly $3 and it took her a few minutes to calculate it. I think basic knowledge is needed! After checking in we brought our luggage in expecting to go to the second floor and finally be able to relax after a 6 hour drive. The first room we were given, none of the lights worked in it besides the bathroom light. So i called down to the desk and she asked that I come down stairs and get another key for another room...The second room she put us in we couldn't even get in the door. By the look of it, it was already occupied, Looked like lights were on and the door was locked from the inside. After this I went back down stairs to get to our third room. This one we were able to get in, the lights work, seemed pretty clean. The only compliant I had was the unit in the room for the heat. We were either burning up and sweating all night or freezing...there was no in between. I also paid for two queen beds due to having 4 people in one room. We were given two full beds and we squashed together all night. I don't plan on coming to Kentucky any time soon again but I would probably choose a different hotel. I would rather sacrifice convenience than have to spend an hour checking in and getting into a room that everything works and is what i paid for. February 19, 2015
