Most HI brand motels I have visited have been excellent. This one is not. The room was okay, but not exceptional. My biggest complaint was breakfast. Seated in the breakfast area, it took nearly 45 minutes to get food. This was not the fault of the waitress, who was working her butt off. I'm not sure she was not also doing the cooking. They need to hire enough staff to meet the needs of guests!! We were nearly ready to walk out when food finally came, but we had to gulp it down. I did receive breakfast voucher as a platinum member. Very poor management for a Holiday Inn motel. I was not sent the usual email asking for my review. Had to go to my account to enter review. I'll look elsewhere the next time I'm in Louisville.

Not a star in the HI system, I'm afraid. Property shows wear and really needed better daily cleaning -- entry lobby and elevators were quite dirty. Staff were pleasant, but I ran into problems ranging from being sent to a dirty/occupied room to no clock anywhere in the room. Was there two nights -- couldn't find a clock until 30 minutes before I was checking out at 8 AM!
On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was good, and the bedding was comfortable. Internet was fine, too.

probably wont go back - staff was cold and not attentive, no soap in room, did not recognize my IHG rewards program (which is not that big of deal) and had to check out rather than bill under door. When you stay out a lot

Typical Holiday Inn. Only complaint that i have is that ALL HOLIDAY INNS that we have ever stayed at have "free complimentary breakfast". We were told that they had the breakfast, and the next morning after we had our plates we were told there was a charge and it was not cheap.

When first arriving at this hotel, it appeared older/not as updated as one would hope. The rooms were average. The bathroom was a bit dingy, with a cracked, old shower and room service was not provided during one night of my stay. I felt the lobby/dining area was updated, but the rooms were not. Check in staff were friendly and efficient; however, the check out staff, not so much.

This is an older Holiday Inn that smells funny. It seems their idea of a renovation is new cailk in the bathroom and a fresh coat of popcorn paint on the ceilings. I'm a platinum IHG member and was given the smallest room in the hotel right behind the elevator. The elevator chase took up about a third of the room. There was no light switch when you enter the room so at night I had to find my way in the dark to the nearest lamp. I told them the first morning (Tuesday) that my tub drain was plugged. By Friday morning it still had not been addressed. This is probably my last stay at a standard Holiday Inn. I will still stay at a Holiday Inn Express. They are newer and just feel cleaner. I like their free breakfast bar. I generally don't use the hotel bar and restaurant. The only reason I stayed at this hotel was because it was close to where I was working for the week.

Excellent value. All amenities were maintained in good shape and hotel grounds were well kept.

The front desk personal is great to deal with and they go out of their way to make you feel like one of their family members.
The only concern I have is the lighting in the parking lot, several lamps are out and the lot needs to be brighter to me.
Also the bushes around the flags need trimmed for they are blocking the lighting on the flags.
