Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT STAFF - BEST RECEIVED I have stayed in many motel/hotels this year. The experience I received with the check-in staff, restaurant staff, and maid service was the best. I want to comment Raven and the desk manager for their continued service, help, communication, but most of all, their friendliness. I accompanied a friend of my for his class reunion (he could not drive). With plenty of free time, I was at or near the front desk, the restaurant a lot. Thanks Lubbock Holiday Inn. June 16, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed, not so comfortable pillows Bathroom needed a good cleaning and tissue dispenser should have been replaced 20 years ago. I liked the layout and having an actual closet rather than a rod under a shelf. I also liked our room location. Even though the swimming poot was just outside our door I didn't hear the kids playing and having a good time. The only other problem was that I have a problem walking and the one elevator was at the opposit end where our room was located, making it seem like a 10 mile walk to get to the meeting room. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Park Plaza Our room was cold on one side and warm on the other because the a/c unit is in an alcove at the back of the room. Also we only got one channel on the tv - the weather channel. The front desk sent up a repairman who thought he had repaired it. Then we had to go to functions outside the room and did not want someone back in the room when we weren't there and he did not come back while we were there. Lastly, the maid left a plastic container and a blue sponge on the sink in our bathroom. I just put it under the sink. June 10, 2013

We had a large comfortable room. The location was great. The room was clean. Parking was accessible with easy and safe entry. June 10, 2013
