We came from Hk airport to taipai ferry terminal, so had difficulty in reaching hotel, as the shuttle run from Hotel to Macau ferry terminal. And at Macau terminal also no sign board of Holiday Inn, the mini bus stand in the middle of the terminal so you have search for it. But the Hotel is very close to Macau ferry terminal (5-10min away). Hotel surrounding is quite ok but well connected with prominent sight seeing places, and most of them are walkable. Hotel staffs are sweet and helpful some are fluent in English. Room was small but clean. Breakfast was Ok nothing special.

My room was upgraded to a deluxe. Staff was friendly and was willing to go the extra mile to complete the service. Great Job!!! I will recommend this hotel to everyone.

booked no smoking king size bed room but there was no room available at the time of my arrival at the hotel, and receptionist switched the room to non smoking 2 single bed room instead.

As a business traveller, I expect efficiency and convenience. Holiday Inn Macau is situated conveniently away from the main road but convenient to get a taxi or walk to the nearest bus-stop on the main road. Away from the busy casino street, you get a quiet night's rest!

It was my third stay at this hotel in Macau.
Service was at the usual Holiday Inn quality but with some set backs.
No greeting was heard at check-in counter about my Membership.
I was a guest for two nights and asked for card for Wi-Fi connection, every time I asked front office was not ready with the card. I was asked to come back later to pick up. Staff said it was at their first floor office and they had to go and fetch. Why are these cards not ready at the front office.
I believe your breakfast has made improvement from my last stay.

NO DOUBTS , ITS REALLY A NICE STAY . CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL ROOM WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS.
DO STAY IN HOLIDAY INN MACAU AND U WOULD GET WHAT I MEAN . AWESOME ! RECOMMENDED. BUT THEY HAVE UPGRADE THEIR WIFI SPEED. ITS KILLING. HAHAH!

Booked a refurbished room on 25th floor. Needed to do some work right away before heading out to enjoy Macau, but I had forgot my plug adaptor for my PC - no problem, this was a refurbished room with multi-plug adaptation built in. Staff also brought my free WiFi details within seconds of getting into the room, so I could get down to work right away.
Despite being a weekend, the breakfast room was quiet and relaxing, and nice to sit by the window overlooking the shopping alleyway outside. I have stayed at some of the bigger and newer casino-oriented hotels in Macau, but I found them all to be cold and unfriendly. Holiday Inn was both friendly and warm enough to feel at home, and get to know the reception staff, barman, breakfast staff etc. Thank you fro a great stay, and I look forward to returning.

I couldn't wait to write this review for the service I experienced in this hotel. It was a finger cross decision anyways but I would probably say no if I know I was upgraded to the floor which is just one floor above the floor that is under renovation right now. The noise and the smell were bad and the staff should know that before upgrading customers there. This is the Platinum Elite customer like me to take the challenge for those noise and smell this time. I was like a beggar on phone for refill of fruit as a platinum member and the hotel staff told me the fruit was for welcome purpose at the check-in however my fruit got refilled elsewhere in other IHG hotels outlet in China. I never expected places like Macau would treat customers worse than that one in China. That's terrible. I stayed for two nights and I was with free wi-fi service. However the wi-fi card was for 24 hours usage and the hotel wasn't automatic and the customer needs to ask for a new wi-fi card at night. Should they just have a new wi-fi card when they were having cleaning up for the room? The guy was rude when he's delivering more towels and shower gels to me and he's without a sorry when the pen was scratched on my hand with ink. That's horrible.... Of course this hotel saved the worst for the last. I checked out at about 10:30am and was asking the front desk lady to reserve two seats to the Macau Pier Terminal at 14:30pm. She told me the reservation wouldn't be available and it would be based on first-come-first-serve! What a joke to me as I already tried to reserve two spots and she should give it to me if it's based on first-come-first-serve. Totally disaster for this hotel and they never care about their customers. (I don't want to go to few more details because my comments are already too long!)

Hi, My stay was comfortable, its onyl I didn't check at the time of Booking that the the breakfast wasn't inclusive in the tariff and was asked to pay in cash at the breakfast table, which could have been embarassing if I had not got my wallet alongwith and this practice is very unlike to the practices in the hospitality industry.
Also I was aksed to present the Credit card even though tarif was paid well in advance at the time of advance reservation. I am still awaiting for the reversal of the entries of the deducted amount, which I was promised to be done promptly!!

Tip Top Service with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean with necessary setup.
Only Thing which need to be improved: Internet only for 1 advice and valid only for 24 hours even on a more day stay is not state of the art. Also internet speed is slow.
Oscar bar should be open the whole day.

The room and service were fine, although recognition of Platinum status was only noticed after we checked in and we were upgraded thankfully before we unpacked. Wifi connectivity was frankly not up to IHG standards, having to go and get a scratch card limited to 1 device and having to pay for other devices is a bit in the dark ages and needs to be addressed. Staff tried to be helpful but understanding of English was a not the best

I stayed on 26th floor for 3days but big noise of the guests
who have been coming from mainland china bothered me through the nights and furthermore when I took breakfast in 1st floors' restaurant on Sunday morning but such guests as above destroyed my peaceful sunday morning breakfast by noisy
talking with their friends.

Stopover in Macau for a night after 3 days HK.
Holiday Inn Macau is really a nice hotel with friendly staff (front desk).
Good location, easy to get food, walkable to tourist spot.
Shuttle bus is provided every 30mins to ferry terminal (i believe most hotel have this).
But there is 1 point to improve, sometime its confuse as there is 2 Holiday Inn in Macau, so make sure you know which holiday Inn you book. (Yes, i went to wrong 1 indeed) :(

The Macau City Holiday Inn is in a convenient location. The building facade is getting dated and there should be more places to sit in the lobby. But the service from the bell staff, doorman, concierge and reception were outstanding and that made the difference. The fitness centre and pool were well maintained and overall our stay was very pleasant. The room we booked was upgraded as I am on IHG Gold status from the superior to deluxe was as expected. However I needed to ask whether we could get an upgrade. My previous experiences in IHG hotels it was almost automatic response form the reception. Unfortunately we could not get a club room but was upgraded to deluxe. Otherwise the hotel was well run. It would be great if people did not smoke in the hotel.

The hotel was booked as we couldn't book a room in the New Holiday Inn. The experience was good. All staff including the represantative at the Macau ferry was very helpful and professional. The Lobby staff take extra steps to assist guests and this was noted throughout our stay. Though the hotel was bit older, the usual Holiday Inn hospitality was there. Rooms are well equipped and very comfortable.Breakfast presentation can be better. Overall enjoyable stay

Front desk staff and manager were helpful and welcoming, surprised me with alot of complimentary items and upgrades.
Very value for money, walking distance to alot of attractions nearby.
