Good value for money. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Dinner was good but took 3 hours to serve and wasn't finished until after 11pm far too late.

We enjoyed our two night stay and found our twin double-bedded room to be clean, of reasonable size and relatively quiet given that it was located fairly near to the main bar area. Unfortunately, we found the pre-set room temperature to be slightly colder than we would have liked.
The breakfast was good and we didn't experience any queues at the buffet counters. The restaurant area was clean and the service was friendly yet unobstrusive.
We only ate evening snacks (sandwiches) from the bar area, which were well presented and good value, particularly with a portion of chunky chips! The bar was very quiet on both nights and lacked atmosphere but as we were there for a relaxing stay, it suited us fine. Service was generally friendly at all times.
The good sized swimming pool was fairly empty when we used it, which allowed us to swim without having to dodge others. Although the pool water was nice and warm, we thought that the Jacuzzi wasn't hot enough.
The hotel is a 25 minute stroll to Maidenhead, although Windsor (15 minute car ride away) is a nicer place to visit with a greater chioce of restaurants, shops and bars.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

This Hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and served in a very relaxed way for a buffet, no pushing and shoving!
I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

Attended this hotel for a ball and pleasantly surprised by quality of hot buffet served, well done.
Bed in room was too soft although available space was good.
Bar staff too busy speaking to each other rather than attending to customers and one in particular found it too much effort to hand you your change in person, so he left on the counter expecting you to walk to him and collect it. Very bad manners, particularly when there were only two or three customers present. This was not just my experience but I witnessed it occur to other guests as well.
No 'quiet' room available so if you wanted peace and quiet it was either your bedroom or the busy foyer lounge with kids running around unsupervised and constant draughts with the foot fall of guests.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oldies61 Excellent Stay
We stayed for two nights. The room was excellent in every respect, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed. All staff were polite, warm and welcoming. We did not eat in the hotel but used the bar lounge which was a very relaxing and pleasant area though we felt that drinks prices were high. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We would recommend this hotel highly and use it again if we were in the area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stu93 Maidenhead Windsor - Half Term with kids
Staff (in the hotel!) are great, very friendly, especially at Check In and in the Restaurant.
Restaurant food is a bit random, doesn't always arrive as described on the menu, is also very slow to arrive, don't count on eating in much less than 90 minutes if you're having a couple of courses.
Kids love the pool despite the access being a bit odd from the changing room - also an arbitrary rule about ages in the changing room is strictly enforced for children - my wife couldn't have our 7 year old boy with her despite his special needs. Pool staff seem to dislike the intrusion of hotel guests in their sports club and can be a bit grumpy !
Would recommend staying there - we do as a family of four quite frequently - just don't expect too much of the food !

Amazing staff - really make this hotel stand out from the rest of the group (& other brands). If you forget to book breakfast then you can buy at a discounted rate from the guys on reception.
The "executive" room was lovely & the hotel facilities were brilliant.
However - the choice we made to have breakfast in our room on the first morning was a big disappointment. The continental side was great - most items are sealed & you assemble yourself, however we decided on a treat to upgrade to the cooked breakfast delivery alongside the general continental offering. It was the cooked part that was very disappointing & actually made us get up earlier the following day to eat fresher & warmer food in the restaurant (with no tray charge!)
I must mention how brilliant the evening meal room services were - the meals we ordered (&service we had) more than made up for the slightly off breakfast. The chef&team involved for the evening restaurant/room service should be highly commended - each night we stayed we had room service main meals&extras and it was delicious.

Nice comfortable room, a little noisy though as we were near an exit and i think there had been a wedding reception so a few people leaving late at night. Nothing really not to like, really reasonable price for a double exec room, free bottled water, coffee, chocolate. Nice touches for the kids - activity pack each when we got there and free milk and cookies before bed. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. We ate in the bar area the night before, food was a little expensive but it was nice so i don 't mind! I would have preferred to eat in the Restaurant but it didn't open until 6:30 so that was too late for us with the kids. We need to be eating about an hour before that.

On arriving my heart sank, a drab concete building behind a petrol station! On finding reception I was able to confirm my special requests. ! cycle to be kept in room.. sorted, early breakfast.. sorted, leave room available for a little longer .. sorted. Everywhere we went was very clean with helpfull staff, a basic room , on price, but it was all we needed and more. The food was fine and being able to start breakfast 20 mins early was a great bonus. The one point which was a let down was the cleanliness of the mens toilets by the bar, this could be men don`t care and the cleaning rota was out of sink with the usage! So all in a great stay for the purpose and price.

The Holiday Inn, Maidenhead, is a pretty pleasant hotel. I have not heard much or actually any noise from neighbours or people outside the room. It is set in a bit of greenery that helps too. The breakfast buffet was excellent and check-in/out was easy. The only main draw back is that there is a hand car wash (with buckets and sponge and karchers) in the car park which makes the hotel look a bit industrial. The hotel's exterior is 70s concrete design but that is part of architecture of that time. However, this fact combined with the large and rather uncoordinated car park that shows a lot of asphalt and little green it makes it very unpleasant and impersonal. The small car park in the front is just about bearable but the large one at the rear looks like at a ferry terminal. Urgent improvement is welcome here.

We had a good experience, the room was simple but clean and functional. The hotel is quiet at night and conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. We would definitely return if we needed somewhere to stay in the area as the beds are really comfortable.

Compared to other Holiday Inns - this was like a kids creche and not up to Priority Platinum club standard - I did not feel like a Platinum member while at this hotel......unlike the Holiday Inn at Media City which is always GREAT no matter what type of guest you are

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by caffy Happy to return here for another stay
We have stayed here many times. It is a comfortable hotel not far from London with a pool, sauna, steam room, gym and cardio machines. We did not have dinner here this time as the menu did not grab us. But we enjoyed our breakfast enormously. It was all very fresh and a great selection.
Staff around the hotel were all very friendly, greeting us as we walked around and the manageress in charge of dining at breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful (I wish I had noted her name so I could commend her personally, she made such an impression).
The hotel seemed very fresh and clean and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mandy92 great place to stop for a trip to Legoland
We have now been twice to the Holiday Inn at Maidenhead and can not fault it. The staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are clean on arrival and are cleaned, beds made and fresh towels left for the juration of your stay. The only food we had was the breakfast each morning, but again can not fault the service or the food. Great selection from full english to cereals and toast. There is also a swimming pool which you are able to use (great if you have children) during your stay. Even towels are provided at the pool. Can not fault at all would definitely stay here again if we ever went to Legoland or the London area. A*

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by yjr123 Good Price
It was excellent value for B & B rate. The room was a little small but everything was upto a Holiday Inn standard - good. Check in was a little slow as only one lady was dealing with a few guests although a couple more senior looking staff kept floating around in the background but not atending to the waiting guests. Could have been more efficienct here. Otherwise a lovely pool, pleasent bar, and dining area. Near to Windsor and near to station into London.

Bed too small. Most hotels nowadays have a least a king size bed.
A la carte menu not available on Friday or Sataurday night. Have a buffet which was not great. Bar meals better on those nights.
