Having stayed here on numerous occasions over 5 years, i would say that the service has dropped quite considerably, normally a standard service has deteriorated beyond expectations, poor service at breakfast, and incorrect billing has been a regular occurrence over my last few stays, having booked alarm calls for the following morning and not receiving any!"

I stay here quite often, and it's hit and miss. Margaret on room service is lovely, and most of the staff are really helpful and friendly. The food is hit and miss, not the most reliable - the same meal can turn out differently on different days. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the rewards scheme is great which is why I prefer to stay here when staying locally.

comfortable, efficient staff, good breakfast
quiet! important if you were jet lagged like me ! a bit of building work going on at reception but that didn't bother me where i was located and im guessing on my next stay there will be improvement because of this

Don't go if you are allergic to dust mite
The moment I opened the door of my room my nose blocked immediately.
Breakfast is overpriced and dinner options and quality are very poor.
Ventilation of my room brought food smell inside as well.
Overall good facilities (pool and gym) but not really worth the money.
Will only stay again when no other options available.

Probably one of the best Holiday Inns I've stayed at over the years. Top points go to Front Desk staff for outstanding service, the cleanliness of the Hotel and friendliness of ALL staff generally. Highly recommended!!

I have stayed at this hotel nearly every week for a couple of nights for the last 18 months. Overall, quality of the property, rooms and service is excellent. My only gripe is about the room service / dinner menu not having enough healthy options. (This menu is probably common across most Holiday Inns - so not a specific problem of this property).
Similarly, I think the internet access charges are slightly on the higher side ( I would think they will make more money overall from internet access if they reduced the prices slightly.). For the price of the rooms they charge, they should allow a couple of hours fast internet access for free every day to the ICH Rewards Platinum members. At present, the "free" internet for ICH Rewards club members is ridiculously slow (as slow as dial-up speed) for this day and age.

I stayed there with my family last weekend. We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. Before arriving, the front Office Staff (M) even called to confirm that we were getting an upgrade into a suite and I've had upgrades many a times but to receive a call in advance was a nice touch. Decided to go for dinner to Windsor (20 minutes away). Had a great night's sleep in the spacious room. After a fulfilling breakfast, we spent the morning swimming on-site. We were even allowed a late check-out till 2pm. Will definitely stay there again as the facility and the staff are TOP NOTCH!
