Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by whole experience was very enjoyable. been there 3 times over 2 years for work and every time it was flawless. very relaxing great service very nice staff. June 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff I have been here for several months after Superstorm Sandy. The rooms and facilities are what you would expect at a Holiday Inn. However, the staff is very nice. Especially in the restaurant. The service is very good and the food is very good too. June 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Buckwheat pancake with pecans and raisins oh my! Believe it or not, we had bucksheat pancakes and coffee for "a very low price" really! including tip and tax. No way! He had one she smothered with his vegan nuts n raisins and maple syrup and I had three with maple syrup. I think I had ham too. Yes, I did. And decaf. I'd brought my own oj to the room. The pool temperature and that of the jacuzzi needs to be raised a bit. And 8pm out of the pool?, you have to be kidding. Anyway after getting the beach house ready to rent we were so happy to relax ourselves before the long drive home to Virginia. June 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible mattress and lack of children's TV selection The mattress was awful! My husband woke up with back pains from the lumps in the mattress. It took days for the knot in his back to go away. The other disappointment was the TV channel selection for children. Our children are pre-school aged and there were no free channels that were appropriate. Why not include PBS Kids or Sprout in your selection? Both are included in most cable basic packages. Not all parents who let their children watch TV allow them to watch age inappropriate shows. May 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a great welcome It was so nice to arrive at this Holiday Inn and be greeted warmly...and offered a glass of wine! I appreciated the comfortable room and the attention to my needs. Thanks! April 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Another night on the road.... Nice clean spacious room and bath. Good location, decent restaurant and bar on premise. My only complaint or negative is the wi fi service is the worst I have encountered in the last couple of years anywhere. I was there with a supplier doing a local trade show, and nobody could connect or stay connected for the 2 days I was there. As business people we live and die by wi fi. March 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by needed need frig and micro wave in rooms, and ice on every floor February 27, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mediocre This property is kinda new yet appears rundown or dated already. Lobby is nice though. Staff couldn't care less about Priority Club. I HATE the plastic cups in the rooms. Come on... there's a restaurant attached to the property. It wouldn't be hard to put real glassware and coffee mugs in the rooms. Also, the pillows are marked "firm" and "soft" but they all feel the same. They're all too firm. I wake up with a kink in my neck every morning. I've had much better experiences at other Holiday Inn Expresses but this is the only game in town right now in this area. Location is ideal for me. February 2, 2013
