Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly good! What a pleasant experience it was checking in to the Central Park Holiday inn. After an initial somewhat scary walk from the Tram (don't do it at night) I found the Holiday Inn on the main road and walked towards it. I had to cross a very busy road, and the access appeared to only be via the compound style car park. Once in I was greeted by Stella who greeted me as a member and treated me very well. When I got to the room there was a welcome message written on the mirror, which I recorded for posterity. The following day I was working in Oldham so managed to get out, to the tram and into Oldham within half an hour. It's also quick going in the other direction into Manchester. The station at Victoria has yet to be finished, but it does stop right next to Piccadilly. The experience made me feel like a valued customer. Thank you Stella! November 19, 2014

They all thought the food and service was great. Also thanks to the gentlemen in reception who sorted out my chair with no fuss and speed. Room fine clean and just what we needed. Bus stop outside with regular buses or can back from eve out less than a tenner. Will stay again :) November 12, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly surprised I was late checking in but was greeted immediately at the front desk by a very pleasant member of staff who diligently checked me in, making sure everything on my booking was correct before directing me to my room. The room itself was a very spacious Executive King and the staff even went to the trouble of writing a personalised welcome message on the mirror. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues in my particular room, and a slight let down to the overall quality by the heavily worn office chair and damaged bathroom tiling, with the failing air conditioning not causing too much of an issue. Even with the above points, I still have another room booked for the near future and look forward to the opportunity to leave a spotless review next time round. October 31, 2014
