Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and clean, very helpfull and frendly staff I've stayed here before and I have always had a good stay, the rooms are nothing out of the ordinary, but it meet my needs for a three night stay. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The only draw back was there are no electrical points neat the bed, so if you wanted to plug in you phone over night you had to leave it on the other side of the room, also the double bed had a zipped up mattress that was made up of two singles, and I could feel the zip through the bedding. Location is good only 15 mins from city centre, close to tram network, car parking is free. Welcome is always friendly from front desk staff Jade, Chelsea and Clare, restaurant well run particularly if Jackie is running it, but the food is the star in the evening, good range of choices favourites include steak and vegetable pie, all well cooked by Ben one of the chefs. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1 problem- quickly dealt with First time in this holiday inn- good location just five minutes from metro stop and short journey into city centre. Ist night disturbed sleep due to football team staying in hotel at the same time. Spoke with staff re disturbed sleep and an immediate room upgrade so 2nd night was very peaceful. Staff in hotel very helpful. We visit Manchester frequently and usually stay at Salford quays but will have no hesitation in staying at central park again. October 7, 2014

I am always made to feel welcome, on arrival, and from all the staff i come into contact with. The rooms could do with some refurbishment and bigger TV's installed. Same with the lounge area and bar. Good hotel to use for visiting Manchester city centre. September 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A good base to work from. I know that many users of this hotel come from a mix of backgrounds, tourists, work related stays, etc. I stay here quite often for work reasons. There's no place like home and your own bed however, the staff here make my week long stays most comfortable. I've never had an issue that has not been resolved quickly and those were few and far between. The rooms have everything you need and with that warm greeting I get, I don't think I need much more. You are against a busy road here, hey, it's a City however, I live way out in the country and don't find it too bad, not much traffic noise creeps in. For me, this is a good City hotel and my first choice when in Manchester. I am not after super-luxury, just friendly staff, nice surroundings, a good meal and a comfortable bed. Thank you. The room I had is good size, however the furnishing such as the headboard and the chair leather is peeling away. Also the tv is small bed is too soft and carpet looks dirty. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by terrible state of beds and noise level I had a very bad experience of staying in a Holiday Inn Manchester. The room we stayed in had a bad smell, like it was never been used. The bed which was meant to be a king size was made with two single beds put together. Matress was broken & too soft that we were unable to sleep for a whole night, had a back ache. The room wasn't sound proof, was too noisy to have a good sleep. I wouldn't recomend any one to stay in that perticular hotel. September 1, 2014

The breakfast is buffet style and ok, despite being slightly overpriced. For non smokers be aware that some of the rooms on the 3rd floor are (or have been) smoking rooms and as a non smoker, there was a clear ingrained smell within the corridor. August 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very pleasant stay We arrived just before 11 AM and was was greeted by a very pleasant lady at reception that let us check in there and then. We was in a hurry to get to Old Trafford she booked a taxi for us. On return the lady behind the bar was fantastic to us. Location pretty close to city center bus stop almost outside and tram 8 mins walk away. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good . Over all a very pleasant stay. and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Manchester. Highly recommended. August 20, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dissapointed This is one of the poorer Holiday Inn Hotels. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover. Everywhere is shabby and tired. As a vegetarian, I had a particularly bad meal in the restaurant and sent the food back. I was not charged for this and the only credible alternative was a cheese sandwich which was also free. I should have ordered a takeaway! Breakfast was a buffet and again a poor selection. August 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VAT receipt My only point is that although we live in an ever IT and electronically based business environment, there is still a need to have a paper copy of the bill, which was not offered on our departure. As it turned out, the bill was cheaper than expected which is fine, but I had to phone up to request a bill. It should be automatic option to the booking email so that after the stay a user can print the receipt off at their leisure. This would save both the user and IHG staff time and effort. July 28, 2014

The Holiday Inn Central Park Manchester is no exception. Whilst it may not be situated in a particularly great location for local attractions these are only a short cab ride away, but the hotel is ideally positioned within a short walk from my company's head office. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday in Manchester, not the usual good experience I tend to stay in Holiday Inn when I can as I am a Reward Card holder, and have previously always had a good experience. However last weekend we stayed at the Holiday Inn Manchester - Central Park and the temperature of the room was ridculous. This wasnt down to the weather and the rest of the hotel was fine, and even with the air con on full all night it didnt come down to an acceptable level. Travelling with an 18 month old meant no sleep for any of us. So whilst the rest of the experience was the usual standard, I would probably avoid this particular hotel in the future if I was able to travel a little further. July 16, 2014
