Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay in the Little Apple Overall, I was very pleased with my stay in this hotel. The staff were very courteous, and genuinely cared about my well being. The decor was impressively modern while still being comfortable. Houlihan's restaurant is not to be missed. My only wish would be a continental breakfast buffet, because I lacked time in the mornings for a "sit-down" restaurant style breakfast that was offered at Houlihan's. June 22, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location This Holiday Inn is the perfect location if you want to be near/on the campus of KSU. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I think we must of have been there on a very busy weekend because the availability of the rooms was somewhat limited and the price we had to pay was much more than I typically would have been willing to pay for the room we got. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best customer service! Although there were some maintenance issues with my room, the customer service provided by the hotel staff more than made up for them. The issues were responded to immediately and taken care of within minutes -- including replacing the entire air conditioning unit! Always friendly, always helpful, and always positive, the front desk, maintenance and food service personnel were top notch in the hospitality trade and made this one of the most pleasant work-related travel experiences I have taken. Of particular note was Guest Service Manager Haley Bauer who empowered her team to make decisions to make things right. She has a good rapport with her staff and the positive work environment she established permeates the whole team. The only reason I could not rate the hotel and accommodations higher was because I was awoken on my last morning by rain water leaking through the wall and dripping right onto my head and pillow. This and the initially dysfunctional air conditioning unit are avoidable maintenance issues which are counter productive to the otherwise super-comfortable bed and pillows. In the end, however, superior customer service saves the day. June 1, 2015

The rooms are comfortable, the staff is polite, and I love being able to grab dinner at Houlihans on property after a long day at the office. I will definitely return to this Holiday Inn property in the future. June 1, 2015
