We reserved a king room but received two queen beds. requested a smoke free room due to allergy. Our room had been smoked in. Very bad experience. Will not stay at Holiday Inn again. Cancelled our return trip room immediately.

We had a men's dirty sock on our floor when we arrived, cigarette burns on our comforter, never in 2 nights and 3 days had our room cleaned even when we asked, rust falling from the ceiling in the bathroom, tub wouldn't drain, hotel staff complaining about not having security staff arrive at all making us nervous about our security in the hotel, and when we asked for service, the staff told us they were too busy setting up for guests of a wedding THAT WE WERE PART OF. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone to stay.

was sleeping good when i received a phone call that my car light was on looking out window i can see light was not on insure u have right car to guest before calling!! very nice hotel and very clean will stay again if in the area!!

My room was near the fitness room and at 5:15am a guest decided to do a 5Krun. Both my room and Fitness room were on the 2nd floor. Every step was a pounding noise that could be heard on the first floor from the 2nd floor. When I called the front desk for help I was told they could do nothing. I found a sign on the fitness room that said no use during hours of 11pm and 6am. I had a very expensive room that I had to get up and leave long before my expected night's sleep had ended. The fitness room should be on the first floor. I should point out that other guest had complained to me about the same noise . I think there is a lack of concern for the real purpose of a motel room and that is to rest. I should point out that I have stayed at this motel numerous times with a good experience and will probably do so again just making sure I am not on the 2nd floor.

Our room was clean and comfortable. I have difficulty with my speech and a few minor special needs. The desk staff were super! They were not in the least fazed by my speech issue and were very friendly. They also were very accommodating of my special needs. The snow caused some really sloppy shoe prints, but the staff cleaned the lobby and hall floors regularly. The pillows were a little lumpy, but comfortable nonetheless. My daughter found the free oatmeal cookies to be a wonderful extra!

The hotel was kind of out of the way. And the fan in the bathroom was perminutely on and VERY load. I slept with ear plugs.

I had a great experience as I usually do. Your personnel were great and the service I received was fantastic. I stay there the end of March and Thanksgiving time every year and I have always received outstanding service from everyone working there.
I did have some problems this time, but it was the mattress. It is definitely wore out and needs replaced. The one side is horrible and I had extreme backaches. I didn't sleep well at all. The far side of the bed wasn't quite as bad. I discovered that the last few days there and my back felt better, but still a bit of pain. I think the mattress needs replaced. Maybe you can get firmer mattresses in the future, some Temper-Pedic. or even sleep number beds. I doubt you'll do sleep number, but it's a thought.
1 more big problem...I had about 167,000 points built up so I figured my whole trip could be points this time...Not true when the Mansfield Holiday Inn points doubled from 10,000 to 20,000 points per night and the Morgantown Holiday Inn Express went up 50% from 20,000 to 30,000 points. Since that occurred the value of my points decreased by a minimum of 50%. I understand the room cost of points going up, but those of us who had a lot of points built up should have been compensated for that by increasing our points by at least 50%. The minimum cost increase by points for a room was 50%.

The HVAC fan was horibly noisy and there was only one speed. I like to run the fan continuously to block out external street noise but the fan was worse than the traffic.

Everything was great from the staff to the room, meal and snacks. Very comfortable and safe place to stay. Would recommend to anyone.
Take it from a guy that travels every week. You know the difference between OK and Great. This is a great place to stay.

The Holiday Inn in downtown Mansfield is a great place to stay. Paul at the front desk is always pleasant and cheerful. The hotel is right next to the theater and it makes for a wonderful getaway evening to catch a show or see the symphony and then be able to relax. The hot tub and pool are very relaxing. The bar area is also a good place to wind down, a great selection if beer and wine. The hotel alway meets my expectations

Overall it was a good experience.
Considering the economy of Mansfield and the fact there is no competition from other hotel chains in the area, the price was a little higher than expected.
The coffee. Please work on improving the coffee. It was not good.
The bar staff tended to wander off for periods of time. it was not crowded but having to look around and seek out the bartender was not cool for the $$ paid.

This is my third stay at this Holiday Inn. I think they have done a nice job updating the rooms and adding plush linens and towels. The tub was slow to drain but that was my only issue with the room. I go way off of the interstate to stay here but it really is not much of an inconvenience. When I walked into the lobby I saw large groups of teenagers and was really concerned that it would be loud. There was a birthday party in the conference room for a 15 year old with rap music being played but I was barely able to hear it in my room (keeping the a/c on helped). There was no noise in the hallway. I figure that they kept the adults away from the kids - THANK YOU.

This was a very nice place to stay. The room was very cheap, which was hard to believe for what we got. The frontdesk was very quick, and polite. The bar staff was very friendly and recommended places near by. The entire place was very clean. I guess my only gripe is the hot tub wasn't very warm or relaxing. Just felt like a luke warm tub. If that is the only thing I can complain about though, that is fine by me.

If this was the last hotel of my two week trip I would have most likely vowed to never stay in a Holiday Inn again. Actually I did vow that, but ended up staying at a really nice one in Toledo. Seriously, there were times that I felt uneasy being at this property. It is right in the middle of the Ghetto, and you wouldn't believe the type of people staying there. Empty beer bottles in the Halls, stinky elevators, and a cold pool -- What's not to love, right? Unfortunately, I had to stay here three nights. I would never, ever stay again. Priority Club Memeber? Throw it out the window-- it means basically nothing. Jank, Jank, Jank. Definitely stay elsehwere off the highway. Do not stay downtown, especially here.

Made my reservation (2 double beds) a week in advance of my stay.
Arrived late that evening and checked in, upon check in I specifically asked the clerk if the room he checked me into was a 2 bed room, he said yes.
Parked the car, unload my bags and go up to my room. Room only has 1 bed go back down and ask for a room that I had reserved.
After some discussion he tells me they are sold out and don't have a double room left.
Told me sorry, here's the managers business card he'll be in sometime in the morning.
Arrived late, went to bed late, awoken early in the morning (7:30) by the beep beep beep of the garbage truck backing up to to empty the dumpsters...bang bang bang.
Got up, hopped in the shower, only to stand in water from the slow shower drain.
Packed up and left, didn't bother to talk to any staff!
Think it would've done any-good?

The hotel itself is not so bad. The problem is the part if town it is in. The parking lot is around back and you have long walk to the front where the elevators are at. The restaurant was OUT OF POTATOES! How does that happen?

Kind of a stinky place with few amenities. Mansfield is not a very nice town. Kind of a run-down rust belt city. Adequate, but if I had it to do again, I think I'd look elsewhere.

I was not impressed with this hotel. I was very disappointed that there wasnt a better choice of food for dinner in the attached restaurant. I would think that the breakfast would be more reasonable and the serving staff was very unfriendly.

the hotel is in an old building but the room was clean and very roomy.....the tv was modern and the staff was great....I arrived late and ordered room service and the delivery was prompt and the staff was friendly and considerate.
the only issue I encountered was getting there and getting back to the interstate as there are one way streets and its messed up !
Not the fault of the HI but still not convenient.

Overall not a bad hotel and staff mostly friendly.
Staff were not trained well and had trouble putting all parts of the stay together causing some problems.
Not towels in the pool at times
Breakfast different as only a $20 credit instead of NC like most Holiday hotels ex. Pocono Pa.
Bill wrong as points not credited it was rectified in the check out but took time and Supr was not very friendly about this problem. But was dealt with in the final portion of the check out.
Someone smoking and this came into the room and last night was not much sleep due to the fact I do have a problem with smoke especially Cigars & Weed.

From the time we arrived at the front desk, we knew this would be a fun stay - the entire staff was both soooo friendly and professional, a home town feel while staying in a city. The food was very good, a little pricey for a hotel, but we found it to be well worth the $$ for a nice meal; breakfast prices reasonable, around $6. Good happy hour items, esp the wings, among the best we've had ... and well poured drinks :-) The room was very quiet, no noise from people walking down the hall or above you. The only improvement to the room would be the a/c - rather loud when it kicks on, but cools the room really fast. The only slight inconvenience was the elevator being in the front of the hotel and all the parking being in the back, so alot of walking for all guests, but there is a covered driveway in front and luggage carts to use. The entire facility was exceptionally clean and well kept up with plenty of guest seating areas in the open area in the lounge/entrance, incl public computers/printers to use. We really enjoyed our stay.
