We were in town to attend a wedding. The staff was courteous and helpful. We had an issue getting into our room as our key card was not working. The front desk staff contacted Maintenance and they were prompt and helpful. The problem was corrected and we had no further problem. The only dislike we had was that we found the bed to be a bit hard causing us not to sleep as well as we would have liked. Other than that we had a good stay.

This is my third stay at this property within the past several months.
I have always breezed thru check-in and utilize Rapid check-out.
The rooms are always very clean and the beds are super comfortable. I enjoy eating breakfast in Park 116 and usualy have dinner there also.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Mansfield

This experience was an absolute nightmare for me. This horrible experience began with the booking of my reservations being incorrect and me spending over 30 minutes on the phone with hotel employees 3 different times to correct that problem. All of the vending machines in the hotel were broke so if we wanted something to snack on or a drink and didn't want to leave the hotel, we had to pay for overpriced items that were sold in the hotel snack store. (example; a bottle of water was $2.50) After checking out and returning home, I discovered 3 charges from this hotel on my credit cards. 2 charges were on the card I used to pay for the hotel and 1 charge was on the card I used to reserve the hotel. On the card I used to pay for the hotel, there was the charge for my room and then another $200 charge for room damage. On the other card, there was a random charge that was not labeled. First of all I called this hotel 3 times about these charges. Finally, when I demanded to not be avoided anymore and for someone to figure out what those charges were for, the desk attendant had no idea why I was charge $200 for room damage and after having 4 different conversations with 2 different employees about this, the charges were eventually taken off my card. Then I was left to deal with the random, unknown charge on my other card. The first 2 times I called, I spoke with an employee that could not help me with this and I was told I would receive a call back from a supervisor but never did. Finally, the third time I called I spoke with a supervisor who completely insulted my intelligence by insisting that the charge that was on my card was only a "per-authorization" fee and it would eventually drop off, even after I told her multiple times that under the transactions list on that account, it was not listed as a "per-authorization" fee and if, in fact, that is what it was then it would have been labeled as such. I said this to her at least 4 or 5 times and she just continued to insist that I was wrong instead of looking further into the charge just to confirm its origin. She then suggested that I make a trip to my bank and try to figure out what the charge is myself since I didn't believe her because she was certain that it was a per-authorization charge Finally, after more than 30 minutes of talking in circles with her about this, I got very angry. She finally attempted to look into the charge. At that time, after looking through all the credit card charges for that weekend, she couldn't find that charge in the hotel records at all. She then informed me that she would look into it further and would get back in contact with me. About 15 minutes after we ended our conversation (10:30 pm cst), she called me back to inform me that she found the charge. She said a different family, in a different room charged their room costs on my card and it was up to me to contact this family and have them call the hotel to get the charges for their room put on their card and off of mine. After spending an hour trying to reach these people, I finally came in contact with them. The next day, she contacted the hotel to correct "THE HOTEL'S mistake.
The desk staff at this hotel were rude and incompetent which led me to have a horrible experience with this establishment.

We recently stayed with you for a basketball tournament our daughter was playing in. We came from a distance and arrived quite late at night, your staff was very friendly and accommodating! They worked hard to change our room and get us the best available room at the best rate, we were tired and very appreciative!! We ended up leaving early as our daughters team was eliminated and again your staff was amazing at making the necessary room changes and financial adjustments, we would highly recommend this hotel!

Comfortable Bed and room but the check in was possibly the worst - I stayed at this hotel for more than 25 years amd always a pleasent reception and breakfast coupon or miles presented upon arrival as well as complementary drink and snack in the room.
This last stay all of that was not offeres and the receptionist was really not present minded during the check in.
I felt bad to have that experience after all my stays at this hotel -like my second home in Mnasfield.
Still my choice of hotels in Mansfield but a bad experiance- I will continue to stay there and hope it will always be a pleasent experiance.

Anytime work takes us to Mansfield, OH (and it frequently does) we stay at this Hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it's close to all the places we need to be.

Had a lovely week at the Mansfield Holiday Inn. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Food was good for hotel food. Also, was able to print boarding passes without a problem in the business center. Downsides, if any, were minor. They included slow wireless internet connections (only one night and could have been due to severe weather) and a bathtub that didn't properly drain (which the hotel would have fixed, had I bothered to call and inform them). Otherwise, great trip.

Our experience started great at check in. Paul was on the ball and a great host to work with. The hotel bar tender was the worst. The cook left for a family emergency and left him to take care of the guest. He had a hard time doing his job. After 20 minutes of setting in the dining area my wife asked if he could take our order. His reply" I guess everyone else is gone, let me get a pen." I was frustrated at that point and went to the service counter to explain to Paul the situation. He was appalled himself and quickly remedied the situation. He directed us to a place down the street for dinner. I was very impressed with Paul behind the counter. The bar tender has a lot of work to do on his people skills. The hotel was very nice and comfortable for our stay.

I am orignially from Mansfield, Ohio so we frequent this hotel quite often. The staff is very outgoing and accomidating but I must warn others about the locals that might stay at the hotel.....
We stayed at the hotel for an entire week but on our last night some local residence checked into the hotel and were extremely loud and not quiet even after the front desk and myself approached them. There were 3 adults and seriously 10 kids staying in one room.
There should be a policy in place for this not to happen and if it does it should be addressed at that time and not ruin our stay (which we had a baby trying to sleep).
The staff went out of the way to correct this and help make us feel better about the situation the next day but if the policy would of been more strict this would not of been an issue. Plus, I would suggest the hotel to have security in place since there was alot of foot traffic of locals in and out of the hotel that were not staying there. Our stay would of been more pleasant and safe.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. I had zero issues with my stay. If I had to pick 1 thing that stood out the most I would have to say it was the staff. They were awesome. They made me feel welcomed and they made me feel valued as a customer. I would stay here again w/o a doubt.
