We enjoyed our stay and will likely be back in the future. Our kids enjoyed the waterpark and the bunk beds in the room. We were disapopointed that the play station player in our room would not play DVDs, but the maintenance man that attempted to fix it was nice and offered us a free pay-per-vie movie in return since he was unable to fix the playstation. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and all staff members we encountered were friendly and courteous. Waterpark staff were attentive and helpful as well. Overall, a great experience!

It was a great getaway weekend for our family. Kids are all under 7 years--perfect sized water park. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the waterpark was overbooked. There were 2 separate birthday parties during the day on Saturday, which lead to a VERY CROWDED pool. I feel as a paying hotel guest, it was unfortunate we had to share space with several parties throughout the day. This was clearly a planning error, or designed to pack us all in for financial benefit, rather than putting our personal enjoyment as a hotel guest, first. Because we live in the Metro Mpls/St. Paul area, I doubt we will return. There are other hotel/waterpark staycation places in the metro area, we'd try first.

Have stayed here numerous times in the past years. The location is superb. Close to area restaurants, shops & entertainment. We've always found the staff very accommodating and the quality of the guestroom and amenities is excellent.

Booked this hotel for a reward stay of 3 nights with my wife and 2 kids (6&7). Purposely picked this hotel due to water park and location. Was only able to book king/sofa bed room with point reward. Front desk was able to upgrade us to a king/kid's suite so the kids had bunk beds and their own tv. Room felt small with bunk beds in it tho. Only major disappointment was that the water park was not open during the week. It closed at 1pm on Monday (our stay was Sunday-Wednesday). Was told during check in. Sometimes they aren't open at all on Monday I heard too. Definitely call front desk to confirm. Area surrounding hotel is nice. Lots of places to eat and felt very safe. We went to Mall of America... About 30-40 minute drive depending on traffic. Not having a free breakfast was disappointing too. Kids ate free and it still cost us $30+ to eat.

We requested ajoining rooms with our son and family and it was confrimed before we arrived (I called in advance to check to see if it was possible and it was already confirmed). Other family members were given room upgrades at check-in, just something the staff was authorized to do. Rooms were wonderful.The check-in staff, resturant/bar staff were very hospitable and friendly. The water park was so much fun. Thank you!!

We were very surprised and pleased with this hotel. The waterpark is very well staffed with safety/life guards. The restaurant served excellent food, and the kids ate free!

We had an excellent room - I would call it a small suite. The bedroom had a hot tub and we found it interesting that the bathroom, which was large, had handicap bars in all the right places. However there were no handicap bars in the hot tub area. It is difficult to get into the tub - but even more difficult to get out of the hot tub with no bars to help.

We went on New Years eve with our 2 kids. The hotel was well run with plenty of staff, well organized & fun! The housekeeping staff incredible. 1st we made a big mess with silly string they graciously came to clean it up with a smile. Best was the honesty of the staff, we left an I pad in the room the morning of check out didn't realize until that night when we were unpacking at home. The staff cleaning the room turned it in to their supervisor & we were able to return that night to pick it up. That could have been a very bad start to the New Year but thankfully the kind & honest employee that turned it in reminded that there are still good honest people in this world! Thank you, we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was exceptional. They were so friendly, inviting and informative. The hotel was very clean as was the waterpark. (this is coming from somebody that generally gets a little creeped out by hotels) The staff at the waterpark were friendly and did a nice job guarding the pool area. We spent our New Year's Eve at this hotel and were pleasently surprised at the lower rates for such a nice place to stay.

Molly and Paul at the front desk went above and beyond. Wonderful job. Kelly in housekeeping was a sweetheart to my daughter! Took care of extra towels coffee etc..
I also had several customers that came in for the weekend and all had a very positive experience.
I have done this for several years and I'm glad we came back to Arbor Lakes Holiday Inn! Won't be going anywhere else in the future.
Beds were great!

I broke a fingernail on my flight so, when I arrived I needed a manicure and Iasked the desk staff for the nearest salon., They directed me to a wonderful place within walking distance. Everyone always has a smile and a warm greeting. The food isnt bad although the service was a bit slow. The bar staff are wonderful and they remember you by name.
Overall, I thoutoughly enjoy staying at HIE Arbor Lakes.

We were greeted by friendly welcoming staff (Chrys) was great & very helpful! The staff was absolutely great throughout the hotel.
The waterpark left something to be desired - the Lifeguards seemed to be more interested in standing around gossiping with each other than maintaining safety in the facility.
I personally had to go and fetch a lifeguard as the little children in the hottub (yes, under 10 & the rules state they cannont even be in there) because they were jumping/diving into it. He came & looked over the situation, looked as if he would rather be getting a root canal then enforcing the rules & making the children get out of the hottub and/or stop diving.f
Other than the waterpark issue - this is an absolute beautiful & wonderful hotel & yes, hopefully, we will be back!

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Clean and comfortable. Was in a queen suite and had nice space, full fridge, sink and micro. The pull out chair/bed was very tiny and not very comfortable, even for a kid - but I don't know that I have found many comfortable pull out beds.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were there on a weekend and it was very busy, lots of activity on our floor, but staff was on top of things, keeping it clean and keeping things quiet as it got towards bed time.
Will definitely return to this hotel.

This hotel is the reason I am a loyal customer at Holiday Inn. The staff is great, know me by name and are extremely friendly. I left some clothes in my room months ago. Brenda not only saved them but on my next visit placed them in my room with a really nice note. This place is awesome!!!!

I was nicely surprised by the size of the room and all the amenities. Excellent room for business or personal travels. Free Internet was a bonus!!
The only negative was that I was surprised that there wasn't a complimentary continental breakfast, although the resteraunt was delicious and well priced!

This was our second stay at this property....and we will return! Pool area is great for our family...3 year old and 12 year old boys!....Front desk staff very friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed the Sunday breakfast buffet, but had to ask for coffee and cutlery! Great location...we will return!
