Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Service Terrible service from holding way too much credit hostage to folding the end of 1/8th inch toilet paper roll balance.... to giving me toonies for the washing machine that takes quarters and loonies........a 19th century fat fuzzy TV...a lounge that closes at 10 or ? .I could go on.. I use different Holiday Inn's each week ....not likely this week. June 5, 2013

Generally I travel there 2-3 times a month for a weekend stay. The best part of my stay aside from the comfort and location of the facility is the great staff. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Value Hotel Start by mentioning that I am a Platinum member of IHG Rewards, and that status goes a LOOOONG way at this property! I get special Platinum Preferred parking spots, and an automatic upgrade to the Executive Floors and almost always to a suite, as there are half a dozen on each floor. The staff here are tremendous -- all very friendly, and helpful, eager to solve problems, and I always get a huge welcome back, even when I haven't been there for months! The hotel offers a free breakfast buffet if you book a CAA/AAA rate, so do it! There's a much larger than average indoor pool and hot tub as well as a small exercise room, all in the basement. Now, there are a few negatives, but I accept these because the rates are almost always such a bargain for what I get. The negatives include: old heating & air conditioning units, which often have trouble heating in the winter cold, poor insulation at windows, and only 1 unit for a 2-room junior suite, in the bedroom. The living room does have a sofa bed, but could become uncomfortably cold on a winter night. Full suites have 2 units. Finally, the hotel is popular with tour groups so be prepared for morning rush hour in the smallish restaurant, which otherwise is perfectly adequate. May 30, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value, comfortable room and wonderful staff We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. We are ten minutes from the grand kids and it is very handy for us. We stayed on the 12th floor and the room was very comfortable with a great view as requested. We had to move the couch in order to sit in front of the very large windows in order to enjoy the view, I would prefer two chairs rather then a couch, or at least put the couch on casters making it easier to re arrange the room to our liking. We had room service every night and it was memorable. Our compliments to the chef and the staff. Unfortunately the ice machine on floor 12 and 11 were not working so after calling the customer service we found a machine on floor 10. Not that inconvenient once we found out where an ice machine was working. The staff are polite and helpful as the hotel was very busy when we enjoyed our stay. After grand kids, the room and our stay were very relaxing. Enjoyed the free and excellent parking. May 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Amazing Value and Service This Holiday Inn was nothing but wonderful service and value. From the front check in to the restaurant workers to the housekeeping, everyone is friendly and helpful. Room was nice and spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room had everything you needed. Leather couch and chairs have seen better days and could use an upgrade. Same with the toilet--kept running. The breakfast buffet was what you would expect from a complimentary breakfast. Fully stocked and edible, though every morning there was something missing. One day there were no cups and another day no mugs. I list the few things that were in poor shape only to help the hotel earn a 5 star rating, as this location was a fantastic stay that I would definitely go back to again and again. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not recommended I request to change rooms immediately as the bathroom counter was not cleaned and I was within proximity of the noisy ice machine when I made requests to have a quiet room. The change was granted promptly. I found this hotel badly in need of a reno and not what I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Suites. April 25, 2013
