Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by business stay Staff very friendly the hotel has been updated since last time I was here very nice. Cute towel animalson your bed. Only draw back I will not get a room facing road again loud road noise all night motorcycles I had to wear earplugs. Nice pool and hot tub very nice and comfortable. Clean hotel good food but some food a bit pricey the drinks were cheap. August 16, 2014

I was assured when I called to check availability that they didn't get any complaints about the beds. But the beds were very stiff and uncomfortable. Sheets were good and bedding was just the right comfort and kept you warm without being too hot. But overall, couldn't get over how uncomfortable the beds were. August 14, 2014

At full price it's not too bad, but with the normal ease of planning and using a discount, this hotel would be a pretty good value. If planning to use the pool, you will be pleasantly surprised with a beautiful pool and large hot tub! August 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Visiting Son at Northern University Made reservation late and had little choice for lodging accommodations in the the area as there was the county fair and bike race taking place. Price was much higher than we paid previously staying at the same hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Complaints: On the second night, air conditioner in room starting blowing HOT air in the middle of night. Shower curtain smelled like mildew. We signed up for the parents of Northern students so we could receive a 15% discount but didn't receive the discount. Guess that meant we will get it next time. When we checked in, the manager said we would get a stamp for frequent parent visits when we checked out, although there was not a check out process except our bill under the door which is standard. Not sure why I would be expected to come down to get a stamp when I should've received the stamp when I checked in and had my CC swiped. Wasn't worth the hassle to try and figure out where the discount was and get the stamp. Will probably look into other lodging options earlier and go someplace else especially for the price and the dated condition of the hotel. Otherwise, the staff was nice, beds were comfortable.
