This hotel sits right by the Straits of Melacca – a good location within the Old Town and walking distance to the main sites. We chose a 'King Bed Straits View' room – very comfortable; great outlook. The buffet breakfast was excellent and we had good, helpful, friendly service throughout the Hotel. We could easily walk over to the shopping centre, to the Portuguese Square, Jonker Street, along the river and up to St Paul’s Hill for great views of the town. However the provision of a regular shuttle service to the shopping centre and the Square by the Hotel is great way to reduce the time you are in the sun! The fact that the shuttle continues into the evening is also good for exploring dinner options and night markets. We’d definitely stay here again, thanks to all the staff.

Excellent hospitality accorded during my stay. Delighted to get free room upgrade and also the benefits provided with the room upgrade. Enjoy ourselves with the facilities of hotel. Looking forward to more benefits offer to members in other countries as well.

Our family of four loved our two nights at Melaka and kids gave the hotel 100 stars for the bunk beds, their own bath robes and even toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was exceptional.

it is pretty bad has construction in front view but it was not to bad.

It's in a strategic location; one side is a beautiful Melaka Strait and other side is Mahkota Parade, shopping mall. Good Restaurants in the hotel or you have a chioce of Mc Donald, KFC, Nandos and Pizza hut or the food court at top level in the mall. Most of staff are young and thus, you can expect a dynamic service. Great breakfast menu; you will get all kind of menus.; starting with vegetable juices. Hotel was full during our 2 nights stay. We were excited to notice very professional management of a huge crowd of guests in the restaurant. Ar least 15+ waiters were serving with smiles without an iota of botheration in their faces. One chef at egg counter was continuously busy to satisfy a big que for different items on egg and with the same smiling face. All the nuts and drinks in the room are complimentary. Spa is good and the price is quite reasonable. You get discount upto 50% on week days. Room/Toilet was clean. Bed is comfortable. My family enjoyed the stay and we will surely stay in this hotel if we come back again to Melaka.
I have 3 points to highlight for improvement- 1. The juices are of not good taste. Generally children love to drink juices. My children did not like after tasting one of them, Management may change to another brand of juices. 2. For everything, you have to call to the call center from room phone. This was quite inconvenient and you feel sometimes embarrassing to tell every small thing to the same person. Should have been separate dial code for each department. 3. Our access card was deactivated on 2nd day whereas our stay was for 2 nights. First thing, this should not have happened. second, when we contacted the call center from the floor phone in the lift lobby. they told us to go to reception and get it done which we also know. A better service could have been to arrange somebody from house keeping to open the door for us and also arrange to replace the card.
