Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Sleeping The rating given relating to this stay at the Melbourne Airport Holiday Inn is a little unfair as I had just got off a long haul flight from Dubai during which I slept, so the lack of quality of sleep is down to me not being tired rather an issue with the hotel amenities October 27, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent allover and very friendly Being weary of driving to the airport, I found finding the Holiday Inn so easy ie . access in and out of the carpark. We were able to leave our car overnight, and for the duration of time we were away. We had to fly out to Sydney to meet a cruise ship, so having stayed 1 night at Holiday Inn, being driven in the courtesy bus to the airport and on return, the same, was just great and called for a very relaxing holiday. I felt no stress at all of Accommodation and parking. October 26, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I Will Not stay at a 'Holiday Inn' Again Rang reservations from the Hotel Information at International Arrivals, booked room and asked the agent for the shuttle bus and directions on where to catch it but the directions the agent gave me were wrong, it was cold and wet outside, eventually found the shuttle bus area, we were now wet and cold. The bus arrived a few minutes later and took us to the hotel. Checked in and went to the room, the whole hotel is very old and tired, we were not impressed with the cleanliness of the room or bathroom, there was paint peeling off the back of the bathroom door. Having travelled in Economy London – Dubai – Melbourne we were very tired but kept waking up with noise outside the room, at 5 AM we were awake again with the noise of the shower in the next room. The price of this accommodation was similar to a 'Seven Star' in Dubai and should have provided a ‘FIVE STAR’ experience at least, not a noisy, dirty, worn out room. I have had better rooms at cheap motels at less than a quarter of the price. We will not be staying at Holiday Inn’s in the future. October 18, 2014
