We stayed at the Holiday at Melbourne Airport & I booked 2 double rooms as we had an early flight & didn't want to get up super early.
The roms were spacious and clean - choice of pillows (high or low) was a great touch.
Didn't realise that the booking also covered breakfast as well as a weeks free parking!!
Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to all my friends.
Well done Holiday Inn.

This is our second stay at the Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport and we will definitely be staying again.
A good value property with courteous & efficient staff just across the road from the airport.
Rooms are spacious & comfortable and the shuttle bus takes you straight to departures then picks you up when you arrive.
Keeping the car there for the length of our stay was also good value for money at $10 per night.

THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE BUT THE VIEW WASNT TOO MUCH. MY BROTHER AND I ARE PLANE VIEWERS AND WE COULDNT SEE ANYTHING.

We took a free shuttle bus from Melb airport to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very welcoming.
With full amenities and a bathtub to boot, the room was everything that anyone could wish for. Plus points for the range of pillows offered and the soft, warm doonas on the beds.
Although more expensive than a budget hotel, this is a great stopover for parties of more than 1.

Although a little more expensive then other places i feel it is well worth it. the service was fantastic the food in the restaurant was too die for and the convenience of servo, transport and airport all with in walking distance was fabulous. It was a pleasure and i highly recommend the Holiday inn..

I phoned ahead to advise our flight from Perth had been delayed and we would not be checking in until after 1am. reception noted this and took appropriate details to hasten check in on arrival, as I was travelling with my 9 and 12 year old daughters. upon arrival at 1.15am, we sailed through check in and was able to get my girls into bed and asleep within 5 minutes. thank you greatly. also big thanks to staff for letting us back into room to retrieve daughters phone, some 30 minutes post check out.

Not much to complain about - the place has no great pretensions, but is clean, well-run and generally serves its target clinetele - private, budget and group travellers - well. For convenience to the airport and value for money, it's fine

I booked this hotel because they advertise free airport shuttle service. I was told this was not available because they were using the vehicles for "training purposes."
I was also told there was 30 min of complimentary Internet service in the lobby (should have free wifi in the rooms). When my service cut out after 10 minutes the desk person said she needed to get a manager to approve additional time. He nor she never came.
I noticed the sign they had that said there was complimentary wifi if you ordered drinks from the bar. I ordered two drinks which totaled $27 and when I asked for the wifi code I was told "oh, we don't do that."

Room was great, and no noise at all from the airport so able to get a good sleep. Service from front desk & room service great. However when we returned after 6 nights away and wanted to be picked up from the airport, we rang the hotel, & then waited, & waited, and finally 30 minutes later we called again, They had forgotten about us. Considering the amount we payed for the park, stay & fly package, which includes drop off & pickup from airport, we were not impressed, and will consider other options next time.

I used my priority card to book this accommodation. So everything should have been noted (with my request for a late check out due to my late flight).
I had 4 people (3 of which walked in without knocking) to check the room, mini bar purchase clean etc. I purchased a movie to relax for the last 3 hours before I collected the shuttle bus for my flight. I also could not find a "do not disturb" sign to hang on the door.
Also i was put next to some noisey kids, which i understand cant be helped.
I really wanted to rest on the last day of my business trip and this experience left me with a bad experience and no relaxing before going home. I have another booking coming up in June and hope this is not as bad as this experience.

My husband and I enjoyed this Holiday Inn very much. The beds were comfy, everything was clean and because we were heading overseas the next day we had dinner in the restaurant with our friends. To everyone's amazement, the food was excellent -not typical hotel fare.....up to fine dining standards. Customer service was great too. My only irritation was that internet was not included with the room. I travel all over the world and that is unusual these days. Overall though, an excellent place to stay!!

My room was a dungy one in as far a corner as you could get and when i walked in it smelt like a cat had been there- Once I closed the bathroom door the smell wasn't as bad- Not a good experience really

My overall experience is good but a front desk representative misinformed me about how long I could extend my stay due to my Priority Rewards Club membership; this unfortunate mishap prevent my experience from being more highly rated. I believe that the gentleman's name was Andrew. Andrew told me that I could check out of the hotel @ 3:00pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013. When I proceeded to check out at that time, I was told that because I stayed an extra hour, I had to be charged an extra twenty dollars! Had I not been misinformed, I would have checked at 2:00 pm to preclude the superfluous charge. I believe all hotel personnel should the rules and policies of the hotel! Thank you.

Cannot find fault with this hotel. It is very reasonably priced for a premium location and provides a wonderful convenience for travellers or workers who have to overnight in the area. Food and beverage is fine and also well priced. Ample free parking also. Very happy regular.

I choose Holiday Inn as I had an early flight and I was able to park the car.
The staff were friendly and professional and when I rang to be picked up so I was able to collect my car, the driver was at the pick up spot within 5 mins.
I wouldn't have a problem choosing to stay here again.

As with many folks, this was a quick in and out, one night stay between flights. We needed a quiet, CLEAN, hassle free 24 hours and we got it! Very comfortable bed, bathroom, TV, etc. Staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We did not use the in-room bar offerings or the bar or restaurant downstairs. All were too expensive for our budget. We did use the courtesy coffee and tea and it was just fine. We ate at the nearby McDonalds. We would not recommend it. Dirty, noisy and the food was substandard for American McDonald's, in our opinion. We are 70ish age, married couple. Hope this helps! Kudos to the Melbourne Airport HI!

Booked 3 rooms originally for 28th Jan 13, had to change to 29th as our Sydney connection was day late. Customer service made changes for us with no fuss at all. For family of seven, Double rooms very comfortable. The bar drink and meals very reasonable compared to Airport and other hotels at airport.
We always stay overnight at Melbourne airport when flying out next day. The Shuttle service to our flights was excellent.
This was first time at Holiday Inn Airport Hotel.
Will use again.

I was very impressed with the service I received from the holiday inn and would recommend it to any other traveller who would like to stay at this hotel. The concierge desk was friendly and helped me in any way they could. When I asked them a question they went and found the answer. The bar person when I went down for drinks was friendly and made conversation even when it was about the tennis. The lady at the restaurant was also nice and imformative that it was better to come down to the buffet than ordering the food to our room. Which worked out cheaper. There was free internet to use and nice beds with excellent sheets. The pillows were perfect and had lables telling you which ones were hard or soft. And I loved so much the shampoo fantastic they made my hair so soft and straight. Even when leaving my room the cleaner said hello. I was very impressed and a 11/10 will be given and I was be going next time. Happy Happy customer.Whenever I needed help the staff were there to help. I am so impressed and would stay next time at the Holiday Inn when I have the money to go on holiday.

The Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport is conveniently located close to Tullamarine, Melbourne, Airport. The guest rooms are comfortable
I walked from the airport to the hotel. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes, even with a large suitcase. There was signposting along part of the way to the Holiday Inn and one other hotel. The signposting to the Holiday Inn ended part way along the walkway, but signs continued for the other hotel. This was disappointing for a first time guest at the Holiday Inn.

I had a terrible night at this hotel the room airconditioner was very noisy and I had to call for a room change in the middle of the night so I could sleep for a couple of hours. I must recognise that the staff reacted quickly finding a new room.
