Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Spring Training Hotel Went to Viera, FL area to catch some baseball spring training games. Hotel was under renovation and we found this out upon arrival. Parking was tight since the back parking lot was closed and a block of spaces out front were closed off, presumably for construction workers(?). We came and went as we pleased, just had to leave the car in dark corner of parking lot. No security issues at all. Real concern was with the housekeeping staff. On day two of our visit, with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the staff chose to enter our room and make the bed. Seems very strange since the DND sign was on the door and the entered while we were out. Stranger still, they made the bed but did not empty the trash or leave fresh towels. Seems like they just wanted to enter the room and have an excuse for being there. Left us with an unsettled/insecure feeling. Hotel is right beside I-95 and a room on the west side of the building will be noisier than on the east side. April 17, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location When I first made the reservation there were only king rooms left for the Pokemon tournament rate - which is strange when it's a kid's/family event. I told the agent I would need rollaway beds because we have 2 kids and she said only one would be allowed in the room. I said that was OK , our daughter could sleep in the king bed with us but told her to make sure she reserves the rollaway as a lot of people would be coming to the tournament. She said she noted it in the reservation. Of course when we got to check-in - there were no rollway beds left. The agent said there was nothing he could do except give me sheets for the kids to sleep on the floor. Fortunately, another lady was checking in and overheard the conversation and she willingly offered me her double room in exchange for the king as she too was horrified of the thought of my children sleeping on the floor. So thanks to that wonderful generous lady, our stay turned out to be great. Location is perfect and everything is super close..stores, restaurants. Would definitely stay there again. April 13, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Room smelled musty and had a dirty bathroom My room smelled like mold, and the toilet was not clean. Also, when I ran the shower a strong smell of mildew was obvious. The AC unit could not maintain a comfortably cool temperature during the night. My conference group all checked out the same time/day and the front desk was understaffed (first no one and then only one person). A few of my colleagues also had negative experiences. To be fair, I did not bring the issues to the manager's attention since I only stayed one night and was on a tight schedule. I have provided survey feedback since however.
